It is 10 years since 'Waking Up In Vegas' came out










This peaking at #19 in the UK when it was released.


What are your views on this now?

One of my fav Katy singles, it's a shame it came out after Thinking About FLop otherwise it would have been another top 10 for Katy. It's one of only 3 Katy singles to stall on B List on R1 (This is How We Do, 365).

(didn't it come out in April though?)

I think this is one of the songs they were contemplating for lead single and you know I think it would have worked, just not on the scaled that IKAG did. However definitely one of her most underrated in the UK, I still find my self listening to this 10 years on.

I can remember her performing this on Saturday Night Takeaway when she was meant to be promoting 'Thinking of You'.
