It's 14 years since Knebworth today Tess - that's mental isn't it? 
For RW to still be playing stadiums 14 years on - that's amazing too. I take so much for granted with his career but when you stop and really think about the longevity of it at the highest level for all those years - it really is something for him to be proud of.
I bet he doesn't give it a minutes thought though.

I doubt it Laura , it was a lovely sunny evening in Dublin & the crowd were up for having a really good time , plenty of booze & loads of singing

In theory they will have made them right up to the cancellation of the Russian gigs so there should be quite a few more to follow.
I wondered today whether his illness will affect practical matters like an RW calendar. Obviously health comes first, but it must have thrown a spanner in the works in a business sense. He is the business and everything is planned out so far in advance.

they will have enough picture material to create a calendar anyway. What is affected is his promotion for the book. In Robbie world it causes quite a steer nevertheless when you look into the different FB groups. I am not sure if general public will buy it without promo.
I really do not get anything of this anymore. Even without saying what he has ( there are speculations about him having HIV after the hint of the blood desease I have read about) they can say he is ill and on the way to get better. This way handled all kind of speculations are open. But maybe that is the effect which should be achieved.
However, on a totally different level. TT is performing in Israel in November. I wonder if they will also get the public beating like Rob did for that. Hopefully not

Let's hope they continue with them as I really enjoy all the goings on behind the scenes ... do other artists do that as well

I have a feeling the book will do well at Xmas , it's the ideal gift for a Xmas stocking . I do not like the cover photo, I would prefer him looking a bit rough around the edges

I've read some very strange opinions online of why the tour was cancelled.
it seems with no official word from RW Management, some fans feel the need to fill the void with conjecture. I know we're all guilty of this occasionally but I never understand why there are always such complicated conspiracy theories bouncing around. He's never been shy before about telling the truth so why should this time be any different? If his sister and Dad give a reason for his absence then I see no need to disbelieve them. Re Israel : I still see awful tweets pop up linked to Robbie's name - really awful. But he chooses to remain outside of politics. I guess TT are choosing to do the same. They must have weighed up the consequences just like Robbie did.

As long as you accept the show for what it is I can enjoy it.
I notice the first bit of the Vloggie is the section where RW is 'in bed" and Ayda " wakes" him with a klaxon that they showed a couple of weeks ago. I love that they don't even try to pretend it's real.
Going out tonight so will miss live but will catch up as I'm quite interested in the next stages.

I think it would be pretty expensive and time consuming to have to buy and prepare all the special stuff. I think having a personal chef helps the Williams family.

I take it that some of that stuff on display came from Robbie's personal collection , I assume his management & the hotel would have taken care of the display side of things around the hotel & more than likely Robbie knew nothing about it until he arrived there hence the surprise when he saw it.

I don't have any principles about things like that - if I could justify the price I would get a photo done. I wouldn't stand there politely either. I'd ask him if I could hug him. If he said yes - I'd go in for a killer squidge.

In all seriousness I would never do anything inappropriate. I'm far too shy and that waiting around at HOF convinced me, I would never do it again and I haven't. I felt properly awkward and like a stalker. It didn't feel right.

WW is working really well for along with the boxing.

I was tempted for a day or so when he first announced them but it's very expensive and now I've seen that he's singing other people's songs. If it was all original Robbie it might be different. Then he announced Hyde Park and I thought - I've saved myself £2,000.
Put him in a stadium with a mic, his personality and his songs. That's all I need and that's the Robbie I like best.
All that said - I believe him when he says he hasn't made any money this time around but I'm certain he will be back next year. So I guess he will then.
What I do enjoy the most is the positive vibe it seems to be generating - and seeing a small part of the US media finally "get him".

The last time I was in the US , went from Vancouver to Seattle on a train , the boarding portion of the train in Vancouver was inside a cage think at either side of the carriages ( absolutely true ) & & the same when we got to Seattle, something to do with stopping migrants from hopping over the border & jumping on the trains to do so . On the way back we had coffee at the railway station in Seattle & went up to join the queue to order the coffees etc & were told by the lady behind the counter that we were taking up too much room in the queue & to squash together , I wont' tell you what i said to her & ' no ' she did not get a tip
...The US is a big place Laura, can you really see him taking off in a big way
& anyway why would he want to , he has a nice easy family life there ...

I think the whole US thing is "careful what you wish for".
I think at the moment he wants to prove something to himself. I could imagine a tiny slot on James Corden. But then again in six months time he could have changed his mind.
20 years ago when he first moved to US - he did it to get away from the madness. It wouldn't be like that now anyway so maybe he can have the best of both worlds. Once everyone from UK have flown over to see him - will he have enough of a US audience to sustain him? That remains to be seen. How do they even get his irony in US?
Do they get his humour? It will be interesting to see how it pans out. He needs to perform his own material though. IMO of course.

the graphics were great Tess - really vibrant and fresh. They looked amazing.
I took a peek behind my back a couple of times to look at that beautiful orange sky. It was so gorgeous.
