Hozier's Debut Album Aiming for Top 10 on Billboard 200 Chart

Billboard (October 10th, 2014):

"Country star Jason Aldean is nearly guaranteed his second No. 1 album next week on the Billboard 200 chart. Industry forecasters suggest his latest effort, Old Boots, New Dirt, could sell 270,000 to 290,000 copies in the week ending Oct. 21.

Aldean will be joined by perhaps four other new albums in the top 10, led by Hozier's debut self-titled full-length effort. The Rubyworks/Columbia effort may sell a little over 50,000 copies. Rock band Weezer may tally its seventh top 10 album, as Everything Will Be Alright In the End could sell 30,000 or so.

Pop duo Alex & Sierra, who won the third season of The X Factor, could also debut in the top 10 with their self-titled first album. The SYCO/Columbia set might sell 25,000 to 30,000. Lastly, Stevie Nicks' new release 24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault could shift 25,000 to 30,000. If it starts in the top 10, it would mark the singer/songwriter's sixth solo top 10 album."
