Ready for it. Hope it's a progression of his sound as opposed to the same old, same old. His 2nd era moved on from his first era nicely. The singles chosen from the last album were flawless!

It's not an uptempo, but MY GOD IS IT GOOD.
It's like some hybrid of 'Mercy' mixed with Sam Hunt - Take Your Time & Ed Sheeran - Castle On A Hill all rolled into one. It's quite euphoric and builds amazingly!

Really good single and brilliant lyrics! Hoping it does make #1 as it's a really nice change to what's been successful at the moment but still from a popular artist so here's hoping! Lost In Japan is also pretty good.

You're welcome to dislike it but I don't think you can judge any song from the opening seconds only. You never know how the song might progress and it could well surprise you!

The song actually builds throughout so the beginning is a little slow. I'd say give it at least to the chorus before writing something completely off and labeling it as 'trash'

Honestly what the point of posting and slagging it off if you haven't even listened? I cannot stand this need to post for the sake of it. It takes 3 minutes to actually listen to the song and be able to post something of substance instead of looking stupid by saying you didn't like the intro so turned it off...

This! It’s grown on me over the weekend, the beginning reminds me Dean Lewis but when it starts to kick off it’s very Harry Styles but in my opinion doesn’t really lose momentum as the song goes on (whereas SOTT for example I felt the original version was too long for casual listening).

At first I thought it was about a boy being gay who couldn't express it, but it could just be a song about insecurities/depression as well.

I find it OK. He is quite hit and miss for me with 'Mercy' and 'There's Nothing Holding Me Back' being amazing - but I find this almost tries too hard and as a result could be so much better. The chorus is the best bit though.
With 'Lost In Japan' I think the verses are very strong but the chorus is weak.
Maybe they'll both grow a bit as I generally like his voice.

I am listening to Shawn’s ‘In my Blood’ right now. It is awesome. You get the impression that it is an acoustic for the first few seconds, but as the song progresses, it gets better and better! The chorus is amazing. People experiencing difficult phases in life will definitely be able to relate to it.

He performed this and 'Lost In Japan' on Sounds Like Friday Night and both performances are great! It's so refreshing to see an artist like him just take it all in and just enjoying the moment. He's so happy and in his element. Amazing stuff.
