Now that the 2016/17 Premier League season is almost over how would you rank it in comparison with other seasons? is it the best of all time in your opinion or would you say that another season is the best of all time?

For me the 2015/16 season will be hard to top because it was filled with surprises from start to finish and it looks like the season where the gap between top, middle & bottom of the table was closer than any other and every team was capable of beating anyone on their day.

This season not only felt like the gap between the top and the rest widened but it was disappointing for the main story of the season to be who could make the top 4, especially after the league had a strong start with numerous teams tied at the top. Relegation was pretty much a forgone conclusion as well apart from the 3rd spot which was taken by Hull.

2013/2014 for me. Disappointing end to the season as Liverpool fan, but it was a great title race and the way we played was crazy. I love that type of football. 2011/2012 had a really good title race too (not just cos of the final 5 minutes). I can't remember what season it was (03/04 I think) but the year when any of about 4-5 teams could have gone down on the last game of the season was crazy too!

This year has had its moments. Last year was a complete anomaly, the bigger teams were always going to come strong again. Chelsea going on a 13 game winning run pretty much sealed the season before January. I think if Liverpool and Spurs had of had a bit more lucky with injuries then it might have been a bit closer. The problem at the bottom seems to be that the teams are much of a muchness. Basically if you manage to pick up the odd win here and there and then have good form in 4-5 games it will see you through

Has to be 15/16 for me too. Just to follow a complete outsider across an entire campaign picking up win after win is something that probably won't happen for a very long time.

07/08 was good too as you had 3 teams all in title contention right up to the last few weeks.

2015/16 season for the season of the underdog and the 5000-1 miracle.
