I like Rabbit Heart a lot.
At least she comes across an an authentic artist, even if her record company have steered her production towards that 2009 Electro indiepop sound more than her previously released material. |

Wow, AMAZING song, AMAZING video Kinda reminds me of Mylene Farmer. Pavel knows what i'm talking about. I hope there are more songs like this on the album, because I'm totally converted by this (HATED Kiss With A Fist, so never listened to anything else...)

[size=1]Drowned in Sound Preview || Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up) WTF? The new single is a complete stylistic volte face, a big boomy disco thing, all bewildering squalls of multilayered, choir-ish background vocals and ultra-glossy synths. Buried someplace deep beneath all of this is the real Florence, who appears to be screaming her lungs out, but is so buried under the insanely busy instrumentation that she sounds totally anonymous, a generic dance diva. It’s so bewildering in terms of its everything-but-the-kitchen-sink approach that maybe it needs a few more listens before one should actively accuse it of being bad. But in my notes I wrote ‘like a really gay Sarah McLachlan’. Which may not be a recommendation. Considering how inaccurate that description is I have high hopes for this album. I feel like I am being inundated with quirky female singer songwriters and I'm loving it! It's been a while since I've had so many tracks that I want to play over and over again. |

I think Flo has an amazing voice. A truly unique singer. Can't wait for the album.

I love this SO much. Can someone link me to an mp3? I've been looking for ages and can't find one.

Apart from the band name/her name not being on it anywhere...
And personally I LOVE the idea of a really gay Sarah McLachlan |

Thanking you This is brilliant. Much better than anything I've heard from Little Boots or La Roux so far. The hype was deserved after all. Hope the album is of this high standard. |
