Also, the love that people clearly have for Forever Dolphin Love seems to be eluding me so far; the video was interesting, at times charming despite the aloofness and it did have some emotional resonance for me by the end, and I had my head wrapped around the structure of the song and was somewhat enjoying it by the second listen, but I was still kept at an admiring, but observational distance throughout; I think I need more time before my cold, cold heart truly opens up to it. I was still tempted to honour it more for the fact that it made me work the most, and has now made me write a whole post about it, but alas..

I'll also throw my hat into the ring and predict Holding On for Life for the win.

So it is a change at the top, but not from wood be challenger Drugzndreamz, but rather Shift K3y who bag the top spot thanks to a full 20 from Bre. Elsewhere we see Seinabo Sey move back into contention with a 12 and a general rejig of the top 10, but the board seems to splitting now, with a large gap building between the top half and the bottom, near the bottom we see Kaleida make a brave and spirited journey into the top 20 for the first time. Will Pavel do enough to keep them there?

Oh I didn't even realise that song was near the top. Decent winner but slightly underwhelming after Mondkopf looked like they nearly had it there... (though it's better than a Broken Bells victory). Not bad since I was the runner up last time mind you Swept was beautiful it was a great discovery that was very close in the end, I would have hated to host again after the flack I got over Churchill.

Wow, this was a surprise... Ok, I'd say it's my fault, I ranked Mondkopf 4th, if I waited one more day with voting it would've won. I passionately hate 'Want Me', it was among my least favourites (25th) (I guess I'm the only one with this), I'm shocked that everyone liked it THIS much.
Yeah, and I'm not happy that my entry couldn't reach 17th, but 2 of my favourites (Sideways and High Pressure Dave) couldn't even make the top 20, so it's not a real shocker.
