Did they drop her? Did she leave them? Why?
Also is Rebecca Ferguson still signed? |

They parted ways, she signed to RCA who gave her generic music and shit promo, which led to her flopping and RCA, Alexandra and her management "parting ways".
She's supposed to release am EP later this year and ks starring in The Bodygaurd's UK Tour in March ld smth idk |

That makes me scared for Ella. Didn't Alexandra have a bunch of hits and didn't her album sell over 1 million copies WW?

Yeah I would be scared for Ella too. She's more or less likely going to get dropped following the underperformance of Ghost, glow and her album.
The only way she won't get dropped if she releases Empire with Pitbull on it. |

She got dropped by RCA for sure, but SyCo and her parted ways as there is no reason they would drop her

The only way she won't get dropped if she releases Empire with Pitbull on it. Since how has ghost underperformed? Its sold over 800k in the UK so far. I agree with you that glow hasn't done well but there's still time for the album yet. |

Yeah there was no way that Syco would have dropped her, her first album and its singles were very successful - parted ways doesn't always mean dropped. Like when Diana parted ways with RCA despite her being their "top grossing domestic artist of 2010", so it wouldn't have made sense for RCA to drop her.

I know you're relatively new on here but the difference with Alexandra is the fact she wanted to sign with RCA. Stop worrying so much about Ella she is doing absolutely brilliant & she didn't even win X-Factor, & is having success in the US something that Alexandra could only dream of just chill abit, I can tell you only ask because you're intrested in her, but it comes across as if you're being a bit of a drama queen & constant 'worried for ella' posts are ridiculous, you need to realise she's doing brilliantly. Be worried when her next album doesn't go top 20 & her single flops hard. Which wont happen. |

So many naive hoes out here. Even if your album was like the huge seller in 2009, if you ain't selling shit in 2014, you'll easily get dropped. Who cares, it's all about the DOLLA for the labels.

Such a bad move for her to 'part ways' with SyCo. Her first album was double platinum and whipped out 4 big hits (5 with Halleljuh). Then we had Elephant.

'Elephant' was her best song tho. And it didn't exactly do badly. It was the shitty one after that (something beginning with 'Let') that killed it for her.
Also ok.com. |

We're talking 2012 here tho. She sold very well in 2009 and 2010 and the second album under SyCo was supposed to be out in 2011. They wouldn't just drop her after 4 million records sold with 1 album, a million selling single, 3 number ones and a double platinum album. That just makes no sense at all. Plus the GP were still mostly on her good side |

'Elephant' was her best song tho. My current rank: 1 Bad Boys (Bré don't even start x) 2 All Night Long 3 Start Without You (not even kidding!) 4 Broken Heels 5 Hallelujah 6 The Silence 7 Let It Go 8 Elephant Not that I hate the last two singles, I liked both at the time but I haven't heard either in an age. |

'Let It Go' is BRILLIANT.
I'd say thinking she could get away with not releasing anything for over a year and then coming back with 'Elephant' (which got as high as it did on hype) was a big contributing factor, along with her reputation being somewhat soiled. |
