This is really great. Much better than Holiday imo. Hope it can be a cute top 40.

J Balvin, Bad Bunny & Dua enter at #2 on NMF, pushing LM down to #3. Hopefully with Taylor added (presumably at #1?) LM will be no lower that 4 (BUS ended up at #5 - after Rihanna & PARTYNEXTDOOR got added the next morning). But why do I get a horrible feeling Maroon 5 are gonna upset and get above them too? manson.gif laugh.gif (I'm still expecting M5 to debut at 5 or lower)

BUS debuted at #15 on iTunes, so this is off to a stronger start! By 2:15am they were at #5.

Has Hot Hits updated yet? BUS got instantly added, but I didn't see what HH looked like before now, so IDK if it updated and they haven't added LM yet, or they just haven't updated yet (hopefully the latter).

Oh great then! It’s out now in Brazil, I posted it on a few Facebook groups about pop music and it clicked a lot more instantly with waaay more people than Break Up Song did. Everyone seems to be loving it!

#54 on Hot Hits UK laugh.gif and down to 5 on NMF

Not on Summer Hits UK
Holiday started at 2 but was pushed down to #5 by 5am :')

This has started at #4. But I can't/don't think there are any new release scheduled for tomorrow morning?

BUS was #5 on NMF too..

---

Gonna leave this here too:

Their Spotify starts (I think these are WW totals?):

Woman Like Me — 1,924,459
Shout Out To My Ex — 1,498,094
Bounce Back — 1,337,956 > Debuted at #17 in UK < *fell 17-30 2nd day*
Break Up Song — 1,288,911 > Debuted at #16 in UK < *fell 16-25 2nd day* < Lockdown probably prevented it from falling further - we don't know/can't tell.
Reggaetón Lento (Remix) — 858,500
Only You — 713,405
Black Magic — 580,576
Power — 498,174
FU — 406,761

-- I can't remember Holiday's debut numbers! I can't find them drama.gif --

Glad it's not a single that's for sure.

Cringey lyrics.

"No more songs about breaking my heart' - didn't they just release Break Up Song six months ago? laugh.gif
"I don't do what Simon says/be a puppet on a string, works for you but that ain't me" - they're LITERALLY censoring this very song because of the label. laugh.gif

I know you shouldn't really take lyrics literally but their actions always contradict the messages behind their releases. It was like when they yapped about LM5 being all about female empowerment and body positivity yet they got involved in the Nicki/Cardi fued and sang a lyric calling other women 'bitches' on the album.

This seems beneath them in 2020 — like a filler track from Get Weird.

It's very different for them, I appreciate it for that alone. At least it's not completely generic like 'Holiday'.

I think this is better than Holiday.

Very instant for me. I can see the Get Weird era comparison though. It does sound more like past LM and exactly what Syco would want from them weirdly it doesn’t sound very 2020 LM.

I think this is awful, probably the worst song I think I’ve heard from them - 2/3 isn’t bad I guess

Hmm, not sure about this one. My first impression is that it’s a bit on the juvenile side. I’ll see if it grows!
