that's a very good showing for Blonde Looking set for a top 5 placing this Sunday, probably #4 with Carly overtaking it. (I guess Major Lazer could too considering their mass streaming)

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds were at 48.6k at this part of the week so I very much doubt that Mumford & Sons will pass 100k by the end of the week

Is streaming missing from the sales? Just the sales seem a little low given the numbers last week.

Tuesday Update Singles 1 Omi (26.21k) 2 Wiz (22.2k) 3 Blonde (20k) * 4 Carly Rae Jepsen (14.6k) 5 Major Lazer (9.1k) 6-10 8 Skrillex & Diplo / Justin Bieber 9 Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars 11-20 13 Tove Lo * 21-30 24 M.O * 26 Marlon Roudette 31-40 31 Avicii 32 Hozier (Someone New) 34 Snoop Dogg * 35 Taylor Swift (style) 36 Disclosure * Omi not too comfortable at #1 but hopefully a sales #1 again Blonde however looks like a comfortable #3 this week. Great ML staying top 5 Marlon and Avicii especially climbing great too Hozier's latest song is quite good only on first listen the Snoop one isn't bad and no, Taylor has no chance of staying top 40 this week (which is getting so annoying and reminds me to count the number of updates she briefly enters top 40 in ) Disclosure's song isn't bad also, hope it stays this week as I haven't checked streaming or iTunes for it yet. #16 from #2 1989's fall Nothing to surprising |

Is streaming missing from the sales? Just the sales seem a little low given the numbers last week. Streaming seems to be there as far as I can see - no big releases this week - the biggest two songs have been around for weeks now, so sales are destined to drop a bit. Adam - I personally think Blonde aren't comfortable on that #3, I reckon Carly will slay them on weekend streams. This post has been edited by Joe.: 5th May 2015, 04:10 PM |

Slay @ Reclassified being Top 20. Is it included in the Google Play 99p deal?
If only it was on the deal when it was peaking around #19 on iTunes for a week when Trouble was beginning to blow up, definite top 40 if it was in those circumstances |

HOW has 1989 plummeted like that??!?!
Tove is so close to another top 10, come on!!! And M.O. deserve a smash, hopefully their next song will be an almighty banger topping the charts for a month!! |

Charli XCX has plummeted out of the top 200 after 99ping her way to #33 on Sunday.

The S Club 7 reunion has failed to excite the music buying public in the same way that Steps managed upon their reunion. Based on how the Steps reached number 1 I had high hopes for S Club 7 making the top 10
Wonderful to see Hozier continuing to climb slowly with Someone New, ideally this would become the same sleeper hit that Take Me To The Church managed and peak months and months after its official release. Mumford and Sons will easily beat Blur's opening sales and should challenge Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds opening sales. |

Lucy Spraggan is only 17? She's 11 on Itunes and that's when you include compilations etc

M.O. top 25! Hope that's enough to keep them top 40 by the end of the week!

The album sales really are a mess - I know we have been through it all before with single sales but it's pretty bad that 99p albums are being used to boost the market (Which seems to result in around 2.5 - 5k in extra sales), Also the streaming sales are a bit of a joke - I think Josh Groban benefited from 100 streaming 'sales' when he entered at #1
