Mint:
QUOTE This is interesting - Zane isn't having a massive number 1 album. He will be number 1, but it's not stellar sales at all. QUOTE He's only sold a few hundred more on his first day than James did last week.

Roses to climb into top 25 that's my main hope this week!
Would like to see NO enter the top 40 also. |

It would be rather amusing to see Adele defeat Zayn in the album chart.

It would be rather amusing to see Adele defeat Zayn in the album chart. Nope. She's had enough time at the top. Come on Zayn. If she has another week at the top, she will equal X's record for weeks at #1 This post has been edited by Hadji: 26th March 2016, 06:24 PM |

Zayn has registered 15k in one day then?
Adele has no chance this week |

Genuinely expected more for Zayn, so it'll be interesting to see what the gap is between him and Adele on Monday.
Would like to see Birdy in the top 5, but I'm slightly doubting that will happen. |

I didn't think there would be any mid info out this weekend, I take that with a pinch of salt for now.

I'd have thought Zayn would be on course for a stronger debut week too, but then he's (seemingly) continually done everything in his power to distance himself from his roots since going solo so I guess a less inflated first week is to be expected (?), despite now having a big #1 to his name. Still an impressive start to his career of course.

depends how you interpret minty's tweets~ zayn has only sold a few hundred copies more than james first day sales last week, or zayn has only sold a few hundred copies more than james 7 day total last week?
if it's the former then adele has every chance of overhauling zayn, if it's the latter then i assume it'll be plain sailing for 'mind of mine'~ |

I don't know why it wouldn't be true I think Minty means that Zayn's sold a few hundred copies more than James' 7 day total. Adele won't overhaul him. I did expect that it wouldn't do as well as the 1D albums though, even considering they were in Q4. |

I'd be shocked if Zayn had only sold a few hundred more than James managed in the first update last week, considering there's a huge fanbase element to him. I'm fairly sure it's referring to James' full week sales.

Hmm interesting
Even though Zayn's power is in streaming and I doubt that first figure has more than zero from Spotify in it. This post has been edited by SKOB: 26th March 2016, 07:52 PM |

Well either way, it will be interesting to see on Monday or Tuesday. I hope we get some more news from the OCC.

I'd say Minty is comparing to James first day, thats the info he posted last Saturday, thats why he's comparing, pretty sure he doesn't follow the totals at the end of the week
but were shops open in the UK on Fri? Maybe thats why figures are lower? anyway, I wasn't expecting him to do that well judging by his album position on itunes, he managed #2 but couldn't even overtake Now |

I'm glad Zayn hasn't sold well. He and One Direction are both completely overrated and don't deserve to sell in such large amounts considering they have shockingly little talent.
