Overrated: "Your Song" - could never get into it and it's one of her weakest for me sad.gif

Underrated: "Poison" - it doesn't often get talked about when Rita's best are discussed which is a shame because it's SUCH a bop and one I still regularly listen to!

Overrated: How We Do (Party) - shouldn't have been a number 1 but it does have it's moments. In this weather it's sounding pretty good as long as you don't listen to carefully to the lyrics laugh.gif

Underrated: Poison or Body On Me - both pretty much forgotten by the GP sad.gif

Overrated: RIP or Lonely Together
Underrated: I want to say 'Only Want You', as it's such a great song that unfairly got paid dust. Also 'Body on Me' to an extent.

Shine Ya Light is overrated if anything sick2.gif

Hadn't thought about it but I agree with Only Want You being underrated - it didn't deserve to miss the top 40 when you compare it to Rita's other singles.

I don’t really find anything she’s done overrated, but maybe Shine Ya Light just for being a Top 10 hit when it’s one of her worst.

how is 'radioactive' overrated? I don't know anyone who likes it... i always thought 'only want you' was slightly overrated and the people begging for it to be a single were a lil ott when 'falling to pieces' was right now.

I think Radioactive suffers from not being well known or remembered, rather than people not liking it. For a fourth single off the album & with minimal promo, it did respectably well to go Top 20 tbh (for 3 weeks).

As for Phoenix, I think the only viable single choices were Only Want You, New Look or First Time High (still surprised she snubbed the latter on tour). Only Want You was my top choice and on paper seemed like it had hit potential... but unfortunately Spotify weren’t kind.

Overrated I’d say How We Do.

It was a #1 afterall but it’s a very of its time like hit.

7 years on I very rarely go back to it and it’s the most dated thing she’s done.
