I'd say probably Let Me Love You but I'm not particularly in love with either of them, I prefer all the singles from his last album to them. Both of them are very bland and uninspired, Cold Water moreso though as that's basically a safe Major Lazer song on autopilot.

cold water made a bigger first impression on me but i actually prefer let me love you now, it has a bit more going for it. I'm the opposite, 'Let Me Love You' made a big first impression but it's not held up well, perhaps due to the fact it's played every time I turn the radio on. 'Cold Water' sounded very nice on first listen, but has proven to grow even further. I like the fact MO doesn't really come into the song until near the end; it just refreshes the song and makes the final chorus sound even bigger. |

Cold Water by MIIIILES. As I've said previously Let Me Love You sounds like a squashed frog!

'Let Me Love You' has hugely grown in my affections, it's way catchier and more melodic.
They're both incredibly similar though, I find it remarkable he held the top 2 singles with that in mind. |

I was going to say Cold Water as well but Let Me Love You has grown on me a lot more and is sounding better than Cold Water right now. Neither are amazing though.

where's the variant "hate both"? sorry but can't really stand them and can't realize the reason of that hype (yeah, of course it's all about Biebz but still...)

I really don't care about either but if I have to choose I think I prefer 'Cold Water'.

'Let Me Love You' was more instant and is catchier overall, but 'Cold Water' is more interesting and better equipped to stand the test of time.
In general they do exactly the same thing, satisfying my appetite for a nicely produced, laid-back summer jam. I'd pick 'Cold Water' at a push. |
