BuzzJack Music Forum _ UK Charts _ YTD T40 Albums (with estimated sales)

Posted by: vidcapper 14th September 2019, 08:20 AM

V2 :

YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier.

1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for.
2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range
3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most)
4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks.
5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split.
6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it)

Thank you.

Are you sure? Ed outsold Lewis by around 16k to 10k this week.

IMO, the interest lies in which will overtake TGS first, and when that'll happen? unsure.gif

I meant he's still outselling him in the YTD figures.

Im suprised neither of them have caught TGS and that might still have a chance of finishing year end number 1

With more big singles to come from both in the next 4 months I would be hugely surprised if Ed & Lewis don't outsell TGS albeit the tracks from it will be played on certain shows no doubt.

Looking forward to Billie Eilish establishing herself at No4 in the coming weeks!

FYI, Taylor Swift is ~#33, Kylie ~#43, and Lana ~#120

I predict ED will catch Lewis in 7-8 weeks, and that they'll both overtake TGS by the Y/E, thanks to the Xmas rush.

Surprised that neither Ed nor Lewis might not reach 2xP by the end of year (even though they might overtake TGS). That leaves the door open to Adele IF she releases something.

Also, interesting to see whether the new Post Malone album could catch the older one.

I'm surprised ed is not already number 1 but I do think he will get there by the end of the year.

He'll probably be selling 40-50k/wk in the Xmas run-up
