I've been on a bit of a rabbit hole of releases from X Factor contestant's that didn't do very well laugh.gif

The best I've heard is Only The Young - "I Do". They definitely had a lot of potential!

and the worst by far is Frankie Cocozza's awful "She's Got a Motorcycle" laugh.gif

Also unsure if you'd consider her forgotten as it did smash in at number 2 but Amelia Lily's debut was so good and doesn't get enough love.

An instant classic! (I'm actually quite surprised at the amount of views this has in 6 months laugh.gif)

And if we're talking songs that failed to do well from X Factor singles can we just shine a light at the song that eclipses all of Diana Vickers' discography but still didn't even go top 100??

I enjoyed these by Rachel Adedeji! Very of the time but low-key bops.

Paije was on season 7

from before Fleur East went on XF as a solo artist

from before Leona went on X Factor. They kept it pretty quiet that she already had music out with the whole waify, don't know my own abilities persona!

Curtain Call and Is This Love are easily in the Top 5 of X Factor singles

I think Aiden's album is the only CD by an X Factor artist that I've bought (that and Steve Brooksteins ph34r.gif)

Shame he never made the top spot (but did go top 40!) no doubt it would have had a much bigger chance in the social media era.

Does this need any further explanation?

Some good tracks on this page, I wasn't a fan of his singing on the X factor really but I really liked Aiden Grimshaw - Is This Love when it came out and it still sounds very good. For Amelia Lily, I preferred 'Shut Up and Give Me Whatever You've Got', the vocals and production are more interesting on that song I think. And for Misha B Home Run is a bit of a tune but her go-to track for me is 'Do You Think Of Me' - a great song which should have done better than #9 in the charts I think.
