* Votes shall follow the standard BUZZJACK final 18-point format [18 / 15 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 09 / 08 / 07 / 06 / 05 / 04 / 03 / 02 / 01]. *

* Please provide your votes via PM to http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?act=Msg&CODE=4&MID=12837. This is the only accepted way to vote. *

* Please also include your country's name in the PM for clarity's sake. *

* Voting deadline is next TUESDAY April 27, 2021 at 23:59 GMT+1 (UK Time). *

* Voting reminders MAY be sent but there are no guarantees about this. *

* Late votes will be accepted if they arrive before 12:00 GMT+1 (UK Time) on Wednesday April 28. *

* Late voters will receive a 15% deduction from their scores. *

This month we're going to be using the format that has been used in some previous BJSC editions where the votes of the finalists are revealed first in order of performance (so starting with Thelonia and ending with Arcodesia) and then the votes of the semi finalists will be revealed all at once. Just like they do in Eurovision with the televote results we'll start by revealing how many points the country with the lowest amount of points from the finalists got from the semi finalists, and then make our way up the table. This will leave us with a nailbiting finale where the winner won't be obvious at a certain point in the results!

Sorry for how long this took. I should have just made a placeholder thread with the basic info first and then finished the detailing but I was always changing it up to my liking so it took longer than it was supposed to

I have a big issue of meeting my own expectations and always getting ideas that are very hard to materialise or at least very time consuming but after FINALLY starting on ADHD medication a few weeks ago I'm finding myself able to actually somewhat keep up but still have to figure out how to balance the timing of everything

Anyway. Voting is OPEN!

I have voted too! Yet another strong final, my would-be 18 exited in the semis which created a vacuum at the top and I could have really given it to any of five fantastic entries. I had three commiserations, as in I really desperately wanted to include them in my vote, but there were a further seven or so songs that I could have easily pointed too.

Excited for the results! I do like most of the frontrunners, but a lot of my big points have gone to songs that haven't gathered much in the way of hype so far.

Ok, I've sent out reminders to the 43 that have yet to vote! No full inboxes this time but the deadline to vote is tomorrow night with results on Wednesday! I'm thinking of starting results 7 PM Wednesday instead of 8 PM since semi results ran a bit too late but I'll make a decision on that tomorrow!

What a contest!

Normally I have a lot of bias towards my own semi when it comes to the finals (I think so anyway? I'm sure bre has those kinds of stats pinned up on a wall somewhere) but this contest has been really solid across the board. So many great discoveries from semi 2 joint with the strongest from semi 1 (bar mine of course x) I really don't know how to vote

Doing my second listenthrough now - as of my first listenthrough I felt like there was nearly nothing separating my top 3 so hopefully I'll get a clearer idea of my order this time xx

This final overall is not necessarily outstanding (I have about 18 or 19 songs that feel worthy of points) but random.org really stacked the second half of the running order.

Can't say the final was really to my taste, it would be interesting to see whether there actually has been somewhat of a genre shift of late or whether I've just become more of a fussy music listener It really doesn't feel that long ago when choosing 15 songs to point was an absolute struggle for me and now, whilst my Top 6 are perfectly pleasant songs that I would happily hear outside BJSC I didn't have much trouble at all cutting down to 15 from my Top 25. My +18 is still a tune though!

Well, unfortunately the deadline has come and gone and with no word from either of the absentees about why they haven't voted I'm left with no option but to declare voting closed. Unfortunately this means Bhangra and Buzzjack Mountain have been banned from BJSC 135.

On the other hand this also means we have a winner

I know I said results might be at 7 PM but unfortunately since that means 6 PM for me it would be a bit restraining so unfortunately results will start at 8 PM GMT+1 (UK Time)! I'll start the thread later today but feel free to hype away here until then!

The only Grimes I know is Ashley Grimes who played for Manchester United and the Republic of Ireland in the 70s and 80s.
