So this song is actually over a year old but now that Tchami's really popular it's being given a proper push. Set for release 4th January on Ministry of Sound, it's going to be a big hit.

it's very lush, go check it out heart.gif

I've been listening to this song for ages and suddenly a few days ago they removed it off Spotify, which I assume is because of it's release.

Not sure how successful it'll be, as many of these kind of songs have been under-performing lately tbh.

Cool song and love the vocals, sound a bit like Kwabs or Jacob Banks IMO!

Maybe better released in January 2014 though, house seems to have just passed it's commercial peak. The song which confirmed this to me is 'Here For You' by Gorgon City which had been tipped for no.1 on a quiet week, but fell out the chart quite quickly. Also, 'Won't Look Back' sounded destined for the top and would have easily topped the chart six months earlier.

I wouldn't have said going up against 5 Seconds of Summer, and two huge sellers in 'Ghost' and 'Sing' was a quiet week kink.gif though in the case of Here For You and Won't Look Back, i'd say they did fairly well upon release, but the main reason they dropped off quickly was that they simply didn't have the mass pop-appeal of songs like Ready For Your Love or Need U (100%)

'Promesses' sounding good indeed after re-hearing it (though not quite up with 'Untrue' atm). I don't really get 'big chart hit' vibes from it though, could maybe reach the top 40?

I remember it being listed as a number 1 contender on the iTunes thread, obviously with hindsight it wasn't a quite week, but people assumed it would build on the momentum from 'Ready for your Love'. IMO, Won't Look Back has mass pop-appeal laugh.gif

bye @ this getting a push over the flawless 'Untrue'

Untrue is better I agree but this is definitely more commercial so I see why MoS have chosen to pick it up over his other releases
