I'm excited to hear this.
However, I think it's shitty how they just give up on WB, no performances. But, instead of promote, just rush release the second single. Anyways, hoping for something with the production of "And Then We Kiss", and emotion of "Everytime".

The song is set to debut tomorrow on Facebook.
Britney Jean, Spears' eighth studio album, goes on sale Dec. 3. Its first single "Work Bitch" dropped in mid-September.
"I have been through a lot in the past few years and it has really inspired me to dig deeper and write songs that I think everyone can relate to," Spears wrote in a recent letter to her fans posted on her website. "Working with people like Sia, William Orbit, and of course will.i.am has been an amazing experience. They have listened to all of my ideas and helped me bring them to life. There are a lot of really fun, upbeat dance songs, but it was important to me that I show my strength, and my attitude, and my vulnerability. Of course, I also have some surprises for you guys
"I want to show you the different sides of Britney Spears," she wrote. "I am a performer. I am a Mom. I am funny. I am your friend! I am Britney Jean."
In December, the mother of two will launch her two-year residency, Piece of Me, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

Sounds terrible TBH. I know it is LQ quality etc etc and I will leave my judgement when the full stuff leaks, but I never was impressed with Britney ballads with exception of Everytime and so far, this seems nowhere near the Everytime quality and melody wise. (see me later eating my words lol).

Sounds like it could be a genuine hit. Right now I prefer Work Bitch, but this is still really good. Sounds like something radio would eat up too (lol we know that wont happen though).

This is what i have been waiting for, FOREVER!!!!!! I love her voice, and how she sang her ballads on her first four albums. Songs like "Lucky", "Sometimes", "Born To Make You Happy", etc. THIS is the modern version of that and I LOVE IT.
I also love it because BRITNEY wrote it, and i really don't care about the writing credits... But, you can just hear the conviction in her voice when she sings this! Unlike ANY song on "Circus" or "Femme Fatale". I'm not saying her voice is super strong, but the uniqueness and emotional vulnerability in it, when she sings what she feels > life.
Best song by Britney in years. Love, love, love. This album is turning out to be my favorite thing she has ever done, judging by her first two singles.

I don't think the song is anything as fab or 'iconic' as it was billed to be, but I think it's the best single from her in a long while. The thing with it, as Tyler said, is it genuinely feels like Britney before she turned into BritneyBot and I thinkthis song was maybe needed. The lead single was very fun etc but I hope there's more like Perfume on the album. Not necessarily ballads, but just something with spark. She lost that spark for so long, both personality wise and music wise.
It looks like she has her personality back, and the music is looking like it could be following suit. Happy Britney fan right now!

My problem with this song (I'm a tad 'meh' about it) is the production, I've decided. This really needed to match up with 'Wrecking Ball' in terms of the force of it (especially in the chorus). Miley yells that song but Britney doesn't have the same strength to her voice. That in itself is fine, but the production needs to make up for the gap that's left by the vocals and it doesn't do it. Far far far too stripped back and it kind of falls flat as a result
Not sure I expect it to do anything either, which sucks.

The Alternate version of "Perfume" on the Deluxe "Britney Jean" is haunting, dark, cold, hollow; a distant cry from Will.I.Am's version, a music insider shares with BreatheHeavy.com. The eerie drum loop mixed with guitars, strings, synth pads and the piano (that beautiful piano!) suits the lyrics far better than the heavy bass does in the radio mix. The sound is deeper and more straightforward rather than the embellishments on the album version.

I am a big fan of a lot of superstars like Katy Perry, Xtina, Spice Girls, etc and honestly I can accept when they fail or they music isn't good (Prism, Bionic, VF The Musical, etc ) , so when I read that the 'Perfume' is a good track...it's like WTF? .. Seriously , it is her worst single to date. Yes, we can hear her voice for once in so many years, but the chorus sounds like it is unfinished, the lyrics aren't nothing spectacular and the whole thing sounds so mediocre.
I respect all opinions, but it caught my attention when I read that it is one of her best tracks. At this moment, and based on the different Itunes peaks, it seems that I'm not the only one thinking like that.

Good, that's the only thing stopping the song from being amazing is the fact Will.I.Ams version has to much going on and it needs to be more of a simple ballad. Can't wait to hear it.

It's not on the level of atrocity that were the likes of Ooh La La or Criminal but it's definitely not among her best either.
After giving it some good listening, I think Perfume is quite forgettable and not a patch on Passenger which seems far superior both music and lyrics-wise.

In the original, Britney sets up the guy, played by model Alexander Kjellevik, as well as ~the other girl~ and then kills them (assuming by gun point). An insider tells BreatheHeavy.com the cinematography isn't bloody or gory. In fact, it's quite tastefully done, but who knows what's been edited at this point.
And get this... the other girl she kills turns out to be BRITNEY.
Guess we'll have to wait and see what the final product is when the music video premieres on Vevo on Tuesday.

I adore 'Perfume' and wish it was more successful also. It's such a stunning song and it's the best she's sounded since her 'In The Zone' days. It all sounds natural and like Britney!

This has always been a highlight for me. It felt quite different for Britney and her vocal seems recognisably her, unlike the rest of the album.
I was gutted when it did nothing in the charts, perhaps not being able to admit that Britney was no longer 'it' girl.
