it is time for some spring Club Bizarre, I will be hosting after Ansel, the winner of the last edition, passed on hosting, and I'm using the chance to take what was my personal favourite theme idea from the recent poll - transformations!

We have had a 'remixes' Club Bizarre before, though that was a while ago, and this is supposed to be a slightly wider theme than that, allowing you a lot more creative freedom in your choices. From the description given for the poll:

Remixes, covers, samples, interpolations, reworks etc. that completely transform the original piece. Highlighting the transformative nature of dance and electronic music and its ability to shapeshift and inspire future generations of music.

I will be interpreting that as any song that makes heavy use of another track within it, you may send a remix (any of the tracks from CB 9 would have been fine as a baseline), you may send something that makes heavy use of a sample, you may have a dance cover, but make sure that transformative quality is noticeable to differentiate it from the original and the remix/cover/sample is a key part of your entry.

RULES
- Make sure that your entry falls under the Dance genre - essentially something that would be appropriate to post in this area of the forum.
- The aim of this contest is showcasing lesser-known music so keep that in mind, e.g. no big chart hits or cult classics. Lesser known songs by bigger artists may be okay. As this is specifically a theme that allows samples/remixes, I expect that some entries may sound familiar, but if the original track is very well known and the transformation is limited, that may be cause for veto.
- Please avoid anything that has already been sent to previous editions of BJSC, Club Bizarre or Unknown Pleasures.
- If any of these rules aren't adhered to then the Dance forum moderators (awardinary and Dan) may veto your entry, in which case you will have to submit a new song.
- This is an anonymous contest so please do not reveal what you have sent - the unmasking occurs during the results show.

Confirmed a remix of what I would regard as a forgotten hit. The remix certainly does transform it, that's for sure.

did go through a fair bunch of tracks trying to find something that I felt improved upon its original
