It’s another number 1 for Jamelia with “Beware Of The Dog� beating first week position of “Something About You� which entered at #5 but the next week peaked at the top spot. The Number one switched places so many times throughout the week just found it so hard to decide, so I wouldn’t rule out a return to the top for the babes unless Jamelia can hold them off. “Easy� is just 3 places away from the top 20 inside the YTD chart already having spent just 4 weeks on the chart.

Other new entries this week come from Beyonce as she scores another top 5 single although both of her recent singles went top 2 and one of them no.1, a climb inside the top 3 doesn’t look likely for Beyonce. Cassie gets a position 9 places higher than her last offering “Me And You� as “Long Way To Go� enters at #12. Both My Chemical Romance & Lola miss out on top 20 hits as they enter #21 and #22. A Re-entry for Hughs Corporation at #37 and looks set to reach a new peak next week. Lastly after spending 13 weeks on the chart after achieving a peak of #17 “Lucy� by Jealousy is the second longest running song on the chart yet without getting inside the top 10, holding that record is Liz McClarnon with “Woman In Love� who spent 15 weeks on the chart with a peak of #12.
