Well, it’s time o continue extending the perfect-executed promotion of “Purpuse“, the highly-acclaimed fourth studio album by Canadian recording artist Justin Bieber, which was released on November 13th via Def Jam and School Boy.

After getting 3 consecutive number 1 with “What Do You Mean?”, “Sorry” and the most recent “Love Yourself”, the Bieber Fever not decrease and he’s ready to deliver the next one.

According Headline Planet, the next and fourth official single from the album is the fan-favorite “Company“, which was written by Thomas Troelsen, James Wong, Justin Bieber, Leroy Clampitt, Jason Boyd, Andreas Shuller and James Abrahart.

Excellent choice I think! Already a UK top 25 hit.

Posted by: jark 17th February 2016, 08:41 AM

Should've been "Been You".

Posted by: mdh 17th February 2016, 08:44 AM

Hope this does well, can't see it being huge though- but a solid top ten.

Any news on the release date/push date?

Posted by: JosephStyles 17th February 2016, 08:54 AM

I must admit, I don't really get the fuss over Been You, would've been very disappointed if that were the single. This did the best (I'll Show You aside but that was a promo single) out of all the album tracks upon release so it makes sense really.

Posted by: Virginia's Walls 17th February 2016, 08:58 AM

Trash.

Hope no one buys into this plastic marketing ... anymore.

Posted by: Joe. 17th February 2016, 09:05 AM

I would have gone with I'll Show You, but this is still an excellent choice. I can't see it reaching a much higher peak than it's already #25 but only because it'll be a slow burner.

Posted by: KWEEN_DEE 17th February 2016, 09:12 AM

What happened to 'Children'?!

Posted by: JosephStyles 17th February 2016, 09:14 AM

Nothing? It wasn't ever the single.

Posted by: Dan_ 17th February 2016, 09:15 AM

'The Feeling' is crying out to be a single release though no.gif

Posted by: JosephStyles 17th February 2016, 09:17 AM

I think we could get The Feeling as single #5! Halsey is a popular name right now too.

Posted by: Liаm 17th February 2016, 09:53 AM

Been You and The Feeling >>>>>

This is a good choice though, and makes sense. It did the best when the album came out but also it shows another side to the album - we've had two bangers and a ballad so an R&B slow jam is perfect really.

Posted by: Hadji 17th February 2016, 10:15 AM

"I'll Show You" needs to be the 5th single (6th if you count "Where Are Ü Now")

Posted by: KWEEN_DEE 17th February 2016, 10:59 AM

I thought 'Children' was single 4.

Posted by: Davidson 17th February 2016, 01:26 PM

So glad 'Company' is the next single, a real gem and fantastic track.

To be fair it is hardly as if he is short of options. All of 'Company', 'The Feeling', 'I'll Show You', 'Children', 'Been You', 'Hit The Ground' and even 'No Sense' could probably smash if he were to release them. It really is an album brimming with hit singles.

It was never confirmed, as I said above tongue.gif

Yeah the album is jam-packed with potential hits I think! He could stretch this era out a fair bit if he wanted to. I personally wouldn't pick I'll Show You as a single, it's over 200k here with a #15 peak, without even being promoted so I'd say give other songs a chance!

Yeah these should be singles tbh. Children is especially a bop, my fave non single and second fave overall wub.gif

I quite like Company, but as mentioned I also prefer Been You slightly more. I rank these two album tracks higher than the rest of the album bar the singles and Children though biggrin.gif

Should've been "Been You".

Yes, so much! Stupidly it's only a bonus track so that reduces the chance of it ever happening. sad.gif It's brilliant, and sounds like such a smash hit. By far the best track away from the singles I'd say.

'Company' has proven to be a bit of a grower for me, 'I'll Show You' however is a total bore.

Posted by: Jonjo 17th February 2016, 02:16 PM

It's ok. Not one of the obvious single choices, but I think it'll work out well for him regardless. 'Been You' and 'Children' are far more obvious smashes imo. Although I can see why he's holding back on the latter a little longer. 'Sorry' is still getting a decent amount of airplay.

QUOTE
While it has not yet formally confirmed the news, let alone provided an official impact date, Def Jam is indicating that "Company" will be the next radio single from Justin Bieber's Purpose.

The label's promotions team informally tipped radio professionals this week.

The news should, of course, not be treated as confirmed until Def Jam formally commences promotion for the next single.
I really don't know why Josep is claiming that "Company" is the next single when the article from Headline Planet mentions that it's still not confirmed yet.

Anyway, I thought that "The Feeling" was going to be tipped as the next one though.

Well that's basically as good as kink.gif

(Where Are Ü Now?)
1 • What Do You Mean?
2 • Sorry
(I'll Show You)
~ Album Release ~
3 • Love Yourself
4 • Company
5 • The Feeling (feat. Halsey)
6 • Children
7 • No Pressure (feat. Big Sean)

KILLER era.

Posted by: KWEEN_DEE 17th February 2016, 04:21 PM

'Company' is a bit bleurgh for mee tbh.

Posted by: Simon. 17th February 2016, 04:32 PM

Company should be another one in brackets imo and The Feeling be 4th.

Posted by: mr_pmt 17th February 2016, 04:47 PM

I've just given this another listen, the production is great and it's funky but as an actual song there's nothing to it really is there?

Posted by: Mackenzie 17th February 2016, 05:53 PM

I'll Show You, The Feeling and Children are only potential hit worthy singles left tbh company is a meh moment

Ideally:

4th: Children (March)
5th: The Feeling (June)
6th: I'll Show You (Aug)

...Purpose and No Pressure could be singles too, but I don't think they're the best options

Posted by: jase. 17th February 2016, 11:37 PM

Much better than the horrific 'Love Yourself'. I'm pleased smile.gif Hopefully they're saving 'The Feeling' for the summer!

FYI, I was referring to Josep's site and not you. I've just realized that your name is Joseph and it could be a misunderstanding.

Posted by: Jaÿ 18th February 2016, 04:28 AM

I'd be really happy with this choice in single (if it is actually confirmed)! It's one of my clear highlights.

Looks like Justin confirmed (or is aware of the news) that this track will be released next.

You guys actually listened to the album to decide your favorites? ohmy.gif

I cannot.

Posted by: JosephOdell 8th June 2016, 05:50 PM

He's been so disappointing with music videos this era drama.gif Only got a proper video thought-out for What Do You Mean? laugh.gif

Posted by: Tyler 8th June 2016, 05:53 PM

I think it's because he hates his job at this point.

Posted by: pippa 8th June 2016, 06:12 PM

At present, Company has already sales of over 200,000 as it hs already spent a few weeks on the chart. I am not a Bieber fan but i find it astonishing the success of the singles when we consider the album has been a big seller and is still selling extremely well.
