I'm a big fan of Mission Impossible series and I have watched all the movies so far. My favourite is "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol"! I also loved the first film. In my opinion, the worst part of the series is "Mission: Impossible II" but the ending scene was amazing!!! The new movie is scheduled to be released on July 31, 2015.

I guess that it will be one of the most successful blockbusters of the summer based on the second trailer..

Looking forward to this, this movie picks up where it ended from in the last film, and if you are a fan of the original TV series, Rogue Nation was featured heavily in the TV series. Also this is the last M:I movie as far as I know with Tom Cruise, not sure if there be another actor taking the helm, but from what I heard it could be the last film of the M:I franchise.

Also Tom Cruise was going to play Napoleon Solo originally in the film version of The Man From U.N.C.L.E., he opted out to do M:I Rogue Nation

Not as good as Ghost Protocol though, but it was a fun movie to watch, love the motorcycle chase, some of the stunt work is pretty remarkable throughout the film, the action was pretty much all the way, never had a dull moment, but I thought it could have been a lot better. For me Simon Pegg stole the show, looking forward to the new Star Trek movie next year, as Simon Pegg has co-written the script. biggrin.gif

Yes, good film, action-packed, good villains, fun plot twisting, good one-liners. Enjoyed it. 7 out of 10. I took one point off for scenes involving anyone crashing through glass windows. I always take one point off for movies where people go through glass windows and dont get cut to ribbons, unless they are Superman. tongue.gif

Meh, I came away disappointed. sad.gif Felt too long, I was getting bored and it was a bit confusing and hard to follow at times. I was hoping for a fun romp but that's not really what I got from it and I'm a fan of Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg.

I really enjoyed it, was easy to follow and lots of twists and turns. Rebecca Ferguson's character was badass.. hope she comes back to the next installment because she gave the franchise a real breath of fresh air.

My favourite bit was probably the underwater scene - can't believe that sequence was done in one full take!

Never watched a Mission Impossible film before but I really enjoyed this, I think I'm quite getting into these sort of undercover spy twisty type movies. I actually thought Simon Pegg was the highlight though, he definitely provided a lot of charm to the film because Tom Cruise just never really does it for me. The villain was one of the best played villains I can remember in recent times, he was so scary in a 'your voice alone makes me want to be sick with fear' type of way, especially if I heard it on a phone saying he was going to kill my friend...

"Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" was released in my country in the last week of August! It hit the top of the domestic box office and it had decent total earnings! Having seen the four previous films, I can say with confidence that "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" was the best film of the series. It was action-packed, it had spectacular shots -especially in the scene in which Ethan Hunt hanging from Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai- and endless suspense. So I went with high hopes to see the new mission of hardened agent on the big cinema screen!
"Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" had all the elements that characterize a great adventure. It had clever script with a strong political background, spectacular action sequences, some funny scenes and elaborate montage! Christopher McQuarrie undertook the directing, the script and inspired the central idea of the story along with Drew Pearce. Christopher McQuarrie gave his best in "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" since he did not impress so much with his two previous directorial works, “The Way of the Gun” and “Jack Reacher”! However, as a writer, he has done much better since he won the Oscar for "Best Original Screenplay" for Usual Suspects" (1995)! Tom Cruise embodies once again the popular agent from the IMF (Impossible Mission Force) and the group which surrounding him consists of famous actors, including Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames. However, the participations of Rebecca Ferguson and Sean Harris were those who played a catalytic role in the overall outcome of the film. Rebecca Ferguson was a feast for the eyes and her character was amazing while Sean Harris fits perfectly in the role of bad guy. As for the protagonist of the film, he was once again incredible, doing himself the stunts from the most dangerous scenes while remaining in excellent physical condition even today. I think that he is the best action hero of his generation and I hope at some point to give him an honorary award for his overall contribution to the cinema! "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" had also excellent cinematography, beautiful photography and very strong soundtrack by the composer Joe Kraemer! Despite this, there were some gaps in the script that could have been avoided by the crew of the film.
"Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" is definitely one of the best adventures of recent years! It had pleasant development and it did not tire us at all even though the film ran 132 minutes! It had a strong opening at the Box Office in the first weekend and its total receipts worldwide are quite satisfactory (more than $682 million). Moreover, it received very positive reviews and it has garnered a high average score by IMDb users (7.5). Let's hope the sixth sequel of the series will be as good as this one!
