Urban Outfitters is releasing a cassette version of the album on 20th March, a white shell with pink writing: https://www.urbanoutfitters.com/shop/britne...S&color=010









I wonder if this is the start of them producing all of her albums on cassette? drama.gif If so, I won't be buying... I need to draw the line somewhere, and her vinyl collection has cost a lot of money overall, argh!

This isn't actually the first time the Baby album has been reissued on cassette, Target released a version in 2018 to celebrate the 20th anniversary - https://www.discogs.com/Britney-Spears-Baby...elease/12749343 - it's almost exactly the same as Urban Outfitters version, bar the cassette itself which was a pink shell with white writing on that occasion.

I'd probably consider the cassette collection tbh. But, not with those prices :') I'm too poor for that and have to responsibly prioritise over things like this rn.

Omg I've been debating whether to start a Britney vinyl collection or not for ages (love her but... expensive) and I finally took the plunge the other day, because I found the pink and white swirl '...Baby One More Time' vinyl on eBay for quite a bit less than half the price that it usually goes for on Discogs, so I thought this is too good to pass up on and at least the only way is down now money-wise, because that's the most rare one laugh.gif will definitely be staggering these purchases though!!

(will pass on cassettes x)

I have no idea when I last heard this in full but I’ve decided to listen today and it’s brought back so many memories and so many gems I’d forgotten about.

The singles from this album are all super good and even the album tracks sound better than I imagined they would given its 20 soon to be 21 years since this was released.

Still the best selling album by a teenager of all time too isn’t it?

A blast from the past: when '...Baby One More Time' was originally planned to be a self-titled album with a different artwork in Autumn 1998!

Apparently half of the album, including ...Baby One More Time, was recorded in May 1998! Backstreet Boys, TLC and Five all rejected the song before it reached Britney (thank goodness!)

Five didn’t reject the song it was never there’s although Simon was begging Max for it . They did turn down bye bye bye though as they said it wasn’t them. They said this on the vault .
