Yours still has a healthy lead, although after only receiving one point from Jade, the songs below it are catching up! Clock Opera takes a tumble to sixth as Akanamali & Polarity Waves move up another place, whilst Human Traffic leapfrogs up into fifth. After recieveing a twenty, Obsidian Born’s points are now up by 2100% on their previous score, whilst Reptilians and Hot on the Heels of Love both get their first points.

Surprise people were guessing so many different songs as me on plug but not this one well, except Bray who did guess it was me ;o this was a really old BJSC potential that I fell in love with because of its build-up <3

I did have a strong feeling Leisure Suit might have been Jade's entry, maybe it helped that I knew the context of it being a two year old Jadakissnia BJSC potential and it sounded like one that would fit in well with Last Lynx and the like! Not the most obvious song to be Jade's UP debut but I did like it a lot lol x (yas for Brade swapping points here unlike in Club Bizarre )

Gypsy & The Cat was the only artist I'm familiar with here. Their earlier music from 2010-2012 is really good, I thought their entry here was a bit of a letdown in comparison.

Five Suns gains another three points on its closest rival, whilst Morgue Witch and Yours both overtake Polarity Waves once again. NocheLuna himself is pushed out of the Top 20 by voting for Pizza which moves into 18th, and whilst I gain a couple more points, my nearest rival Addy gains fifteen of them to jump away. Harry and Danzig remain on zero. (a shame because both of them are nice songs!)

haha yeah it's a really interesting song, fell in love with it completely instantly when looking for something new and fresh for this - makes me want to see the movie it's from now, 'Paprika'! I think it was recommended on plug also ;o I knew his song 'Parade' before (from the same soundtrack - the whole soundtrack is actually really good now that I've heard it all). I did think both you and Jade would point me but neither of you did which is fair enough as it was a strong contest like you said!

No problem - I really liked your entry, it actually reminded me a bit of the fairly recent BJSC winner from SevenSeize so I thought it might be him.

Loving is Easy doesn't deserve to be that low, i thought it was nice enough, definitely a bit Jack Johnson in style, although maybe not 'alternative enough' to do well in this which is maybe why it hasn't done so well.

Obsidian Born is a fantastic entry, Mr Cucumber.

I wouldn't say it was witch house, more like trance/progressive dance with a slow trap/hip hop beat.

Oh noo, poor brave Chez getting yet another silver medalist!! Although actually I don't think Iz has ever won any of the song contests either and he's been entering them for even longer so at least a long wait is over for someone, congrats Iz (after initially almost not entering this edition and all) x 'Danger' is a really good winner too but I was really rooting for 'Panic' there as it was my favourite and one I didn't think would do that well, plus it winning would give me hope that one of my weird UP entries could win one day!!

So close to the top 10 myself as well dammit (although it would have been a 'fake' top 10 anyway since 'Pizza' got a deduction). That is a really good top 10 anyway, I voted for 8/10 of them and the other two were 13th and 14th! Jade's song deserved much better though x

Thanks for this Pete! I wonder if this shorter period for confirmations / voting is the way forward for UP, since nearly everyone got votes in in the end anyway despite having half the time they normally do

Inouwee was a song I almost entered to BJSC 53, then changed and forgot about for years until I was looking on my iPod for a decent UP sounding song this month - which explains the different sound, we're going back to 2013 Iz's priorities for song searching, I can't really do it as effectively out here. Got right back into it though so I'll definitely take that as a winner, I'm so very pleased with that and that people I didn't expect were giving me 20s and the like. One down, three to go xx (incl. spinoffs)

Commiserations to Chez too, your song sounded very interesting. I'm amused that the top 2 is made up of songs called Danger and Panic though. And very well done at hosting Pete, I'll get thinking how to present the next one, whenever it may be.
