Why is this in here
Posted by: The Emperor 29th November 2016, 10:38 PM
Clearly awardinary must have a computer v,irus or have been taken over by a hacker or something.
Posted by: awardinary 29th November 2016, 10:44 PM
Because it's for not just UK TV programmes but international TV too.

I noticed the thread and will keep it for now although the concept doesn't really seem very... discussion-y

I am a massive fan of yours awardinary, but this thread topic is more than slightly spammy

I fail to see how since I haven't even begun to use it yet, I simply said it was a feature coming soon so that people, like me who do pay for downloads legally, can see what is in sale and take advantage of online bargains.
As for this thread being "discussiony" (great word invented there btw
), anyone who comes accords a bargain can share it, not just me.

OH OK it's TV, I thought it was identical to the music one
Sorry Wardy

Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh but but this thread is a bit too promotional of the app involved. I know you are probably getting paid by them to do it, but this whole thread comes across as an advert for it.

No you're completely wrong, I am not paid by them at all, in fact if you read all the thread, you would have seen this clear disclaimer!

What would the products be? And don't just say live entertainment from The Emperor!

Eg you could post in the Hats thread, "Wow I love this H&M wooly Christmas hat! It's got fur lining inside and comes in at a reasonable price of £6.99, I love it!"

Unfortunately I cannot commit to live concerts at the minute.
There are those people who do get paid to promote a wide range of things online by companies, not necessarly companies which own the products though and mistakenly thought this thread was part of this. Sorry awardinary

Yeah, in which case that might be deeemd spammy, but it was intended to be a simple way to put bargains out there that people find.
On a similar note, has there ever been a Buzzjack thread for selling unwanted goods to other users if they want them etc? I'm not thinking of making one, but it was just something I thought I may have noticed once in the past.

Can we actually get to the point of the thread?
And with so many people having Netflix I don't think this idea has potential to begin with.

well I just bought the new 3D Bluray Star Trek movie partly for the free download I can watch on holiday - I was peeved to find I had to watch on itunes only as I only have a tiny mp3 player to watch it on. Not so much a bargain for me sadly, at least the rivals on Play.com or whatever will let me watch it on my Samsung.
Just a whinge really, I do use itunes for music, not so sure of using it for video without ways of watching it on non-Apple devices...

Is that logo supposed to be based on the logo of a certain discount store in the UK, also with the word 'bargains' in the name?

Nah just coincidence.
