Can't believe it's been 3 years since Dangerous Woman today! ohmy.gif How well does the album hold up for you? heart.gif

(I'll post my thoughts in depth later, want to give this album a review it deserves!)

Can't believe it's been 3 years already.

It's certainty one of those albums that I listened to constantly for months on end. So many great songs and no fluff at-all for me.

Happy 3 years 'Dangerous Woman'! I took more notice of Ariana than ever before due to the 'sweetener' and 'thank u, next' singles BUT I actually think 'Dangerous Woman' is her best body of work as an album - it's versatile and packed with many dreamy highs. Songs from it are still growing on me even now. I recently came across my own rating of the album from 2016 and some of my opinions have changed so much laugh.gif like rating 'Let Me Love You' 4.5/10 - what was I thinking?!

I also really like the general aesthetic of the era and the album title - everything about it all was so fierce.

Have just given the album a fresh spin after seeing this thread and this would be my ranking:

01. Greedy
02. Be Alright
03. Let Me Love You
04. Sometimes
05. Into You
06. Leave Me Lonely (this used to be my favourite but all of the above have stuck with me a lot more!)
07. Moonlight
08. Dangerous Woman
09. Thinking Bout You
10. Touch It
11. Bad Decisions
12. I Don't Care
13. Everyday
14. Knew Better / Forever Boy
15. Side To Side

Not that keen on the bottom two but everything higher is great. heart.gif

My ranking would probably be:

01 Touch It
02 Into You
03 Let Me Love You
04 Sometimes
05 Greedy
06 Leave Me Lonely
07 Everyday
08 Thinking Bout You
09 Be Alright
10 Moonlight
11 Dangerous Woman
12 Bad Decisions
13 Side To Side
14 I Don't Care
15 Knew Better / Forever Boy

I still absolutely love Touch It, and all of the top eight are fantastic! Not a fan of the bottom few though.

Definitely still remains her best album for me, it's a masterpiece wub.gif it's held up amazingly well for me, notably the title track which I wasn't quite obsessed with like Problem at the time, but it's stood the test of time much better. Side to Side is my favourite but I'm glad the album goes deeper than that one. Her most consistent and cohesive album and I would have loved to have seen the Dangerous Woman tour (my date was cancelled, for obvious and understandable reasons but a shame nonetheless)

My ranking:

1. Side to Side
2. Into You
3. Dangerous Woman
4. Thinking Bout You
5. Greedy
6. Knew Better / Forever Boy
7. Everyday
8. Bad Decisions
9. Be Alright
10. Let Me Love You
11. Leave Me Lonely
12. Touch It
13. Sometimes
14. Moonlight
15. I Don't Care

I prefer her debut album to this and both sweetener and thank u, next but it’s a great album.

My ranking ❤️.

1. Thinkin Bout You
2. Into You
3. Sometimes
4. Moonlight
5. Greedy
6. Touch It
7. Leave Me Lonely
8. Dangerous Woman
9. Knew Better / Forever Boy
10. Bad Decisions
11. Side to Side
12. Let Me Love You
13. Be Alright
14. Everyday
15. I Don’t Care

A great album let down by poor single choices (Into You aside) I think the best tracks are on the album itself.

It's such an incredible album, it was definitely the best album of that year for me.

It makes me sad to think how the majority of the stuff she's putting out now is so inferior to this. sad.gif

I just listened to this to do a ranking and it really was bringing back memories of seeing the Dangerous Woman tour in Birmingham, which was one of the best night of my life.

1. Bad Decisions - The bridge always gets me. So good!
2. Let Me Love You
3. Into You
4. Dangerous Woman
5. Be Alright
6. Greedy
7. Knew Better / Forever Boy - This has certainly been the biggest grower for me in the 3 years since. I originally had it bottom
8. Side To Side
9. Touch It
10. Sometimes
11. Moonlight
12. Thinking Bout You
13. Leave Me Lonely
14. I Don't Care
15. Everyday

Still holds up as my favourite album by her! heart.gif

A handful of tracks are a bit on the meh side (I can take or leave Leave Me Lonely & I Don't Care), but the majority of it is fantastic.

My rank of the album tracks:

1 Thinking Bout You
2 Knew Better / Forever Boy
3 Be Alright
4 Touch It
5 Greedy
6 Bad Decisions
7 Moonlight
8 Sometimes
9 Let Me Love You
10 Leave Me Lonely
11 I Don't Care

(3 to 8 is very close together, the order could easily change around depending on my mood. There's a big gap between 8 & 9 though!)

wub.gif! Still can’t get over Ariana saying that she thinks Touch It is one of her most boring songs... drama.gif

Yeah I think that really captures how Ariana's music has gone downhill for me personally, she wants to move away from that sort of song I suppose, but it's my highlight of the album!
