Does anyone have any suggestions for movies or tv shows that are worth watching?
I bought a new phone today and with it a free 3 month subscription to Apple TV+, I’ve used most other streaming services before but never this one. All I know it’s mostly made up of Apple exclusives My taste is irrelevant as I’ll watch most things But that makes it even harder to decide lol. Do you have Apple TV+? What do you like best? |

I would second both Slow Horses and The Morning Show. Bad Sisters has been my favourite of the Apple Originals so far. I also really enjoyed Silo, Defending Jacob and The Afterparty.

Severence was one of the best shows I watched of 2022 and Trying if your looking something more laid back!
Black Bird is also brilliant! |

I pretty much solely watch Apple TV+ content these days, shows I have watched and would recommend:
Foundation - Sweeping space opera. Truly excellent production values. Slightly meandering storyline, but very definitely worth sticking with. For All Mankind - Alt-history based not he Soviet Union winning the space race. Each season covers a different decade. Loot - Maya Rudolph starring comedy about a billionaire divorcee who runs a charity (hilarity ensues). Severance - Impossible to describe without giving it away. Just incredible tv. Silo - Dystopian sci-fi. Not a hugely original premise, but very well executed. Lessons in Chemistry - Period drama touching on feminism, racism and the reality of life in 50's/60's America. The Morning Show - Post Me Too morning TV show soap drama. Nonsensical but fun. WeCrashed - ''Based on real events'' around WeWork. Anne Hathaway is excellent. Slow Horses - British spy drama, some excellent acting and gripping storylines. Dickinson - Modern (comedic) retelling of the life of 19th century poet Emily Dickinson. Mythic Quest - Workplace comedy set within a gaming company. Decent hit rate of jokes and good supporting cast of characters, especially Jo. Palm Royale - Campy nonsense drama set in the 1960's with an excellent cast and some fantastic dialogue. |

I started watching The Morning Show (renamed Morning Wars here in Australia because we have an actual morning show on the same platform as this )
Liking it so far though I’m only a few episodes in - I was surprised to realise it’s not a comedy considering those involved |
