Features and soundtracks hardly take a lot out of her if she at least wanted to keep her music career somewhat limping during her break.

If taking three years out means an album as insightful as Halcyon is to come, I don’t mind.

I think Ellie will struggle returning after a lengthy gap. Her last album was the best she has done but the record company seemed to give up on it so early. Unlike the first two albums, there was no reissue despite it reaching a respectful platinum status.

Intrigued to see how this sounds and how it will perform. Her last album campaign felt quite short in comparison to her first two which had great campaigns.

I follow a page on Twitter called @musicnewsfact which states Halcyon is the 9th best selling album of all time in the UK by a female. Surely this isn’t true. Is it the 9th biggest female record of the 2010s or something.

I'd imagine its of the 2010s, it's sold 1.2 million I believe and I just looked on Wiki and can see Adele x2, Madonna, Amy Winehouse, Shania Twain, Leona Lewis, Dido x2, Lady Gaga, Alanis Morissette, Tracy Chapman and Norah Jones are in the top 60 of all time, so well over 8 other females, and #60 on that is 2.3 million so there'd be numerous others laugh.gif
