Ilan Rubin was the session drummer for the self-titled album in 2013, and now his own band are back with new single 'Rebel Girl'.
It's pop-punk with synths, and other members in the band include Tom DeLonge (formerly of Blink-182) and Matt Wachter (formerly of Thirty Seconds to Mars).
I get a lot of vibes from the self-titled album, particularly with the *heavenly* synths during the chorus.
