from wiki, Lover did 53k SPS with 35k pure sales.

her physical shipment in UK merch store says shipped on aug.7 and no bundles.
so she will only have streaming+digital sales.

People slating Taylor on here is funny! Her best album to date by a country mile but may not be to some taste. With CDs available this would have outdone Lover but in the long run wil sell more. Such a beautiful incredible album.

imagine pop girls being held hostage for years and years but getting disowned the second they step outside of the stan-controlled mainstream pop perimeter

I listened to Cardigan. It served to remind me that Taylor is a very good singer, something I feel got lost in her last couple of albums.

You and me both! If they don’t, hopefully they will raise in later weeks.

I think LM will manage a top 15 debut but i’m hoping they peak top 10 in a few weeks time.

Surely that 1.7k in 2 days is not enough for #3 on albums? Or can it be?

Regarding the commercial success of Folklore: It's almost surely the most popular album in the US this year being halfway there after first week without any physical copies in the stores apart from her own website. UK is a bit different story - I can see the album dropping quite fast once the physical copies are out, that is the second week of August. Until then, it should do very well. Maybe top 5-10 seller of the year?

Amazing that all top 3 albums released this year might soon be by female artists (Dua, Gaga, Taylor) wub.gif

Neck Deep would be at least 6k+ by now I'd imagine, so probably an error.

Probably, there's barely any streaming data on today's update. From last week's chart, the likes of Pop Smoke and Juice WRLD rely on that and Ellie Goulding and Bob Dylan will be slipping away.

I can’t see Taylor Swift selling that well to be honest. It’s just bland the album. I’ve liked her last few albums but this one doesn’t interest me at all.

You’re opinion is DEFINITELY not of the majority

I’m upping my projections for Folklore to 35k-38k considering it has sold 15k in just 2 days and has streaming to play in her favour.

Folklore is heading for a 700K+ debut in the U.S so I don’t understand some people on here saying it’s flopping?

I hope Taylor can keep those 3 tracks in the top-ten but it is more likely that they will debut in the top-15/20 which is still good.

yeah I think folklore will finish with around 35k. if it follows Lover's pattern it ends at just under 33k and I feel it'll be less frontloaded + also will have bigger streaming add ons from the backloaded streaming data

I hope all 3 songs can stay top 10! cardigan should def stay top 10, and I feel it has a shot at top 5. with the way its holding on iTunes/spotify, I feel confident with exile staying top 10 too. the 1... I'm less confident but one can hope x

Yeah low numbers for Taylor but with zero physical copies, no Amazon, no stores no nothing... That's huge and amazing. This masterpiece will sell all year long.
