What I'd like to know is, if you bet on Ed Sheeran, and he's Number 1 as Stormzy feat. Ed Sheeran, would they still pay out? I remember thinking the same thing when 'River' was looking like a contender for Xmas #1 a couple of years ago lol ~ I would assume yes but who knows really. |

Robbie Williams and James Blunt I don’t think stand a chance
Lewis, Stormzy/Ed seem likely Adele if she releases... but that’s not looking likely With Wham and Mariah they have more chance for the week after Xmas chart. |

It is now or never for Mariah Carey and possibly for Wham too.

James Blunt 6/1? with what song? Monsters is being released properly as a charity single for Help For Heroes organised by The Sun. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/10341...elp-for-heroes/ |

Robbie's words about Xmas Single 1
QUOTE “I think that being number one on the Christmas singles chart will be out of reach for me,” he says. “You need to be young and in the pocket of radio and streaming. But I’m a dinosaur in that sense. I’m middle-aged, my fans don’t stream, and the radio stations that used to play me, don’t. I sell physical records still, so the Christmas album number one is really important.” So, it's all about album for him. But 20 new original songs on the album give him an opportunity to be in a singles' contenders list, at least. |

It's probably going to be Lewis Capaldi knowing our luck. How one man with such mediocre talent has been so successful is beyond me. He is literally the love child of Rag 'n Bone Man and James Arthur.

Kind of hoping Adele drops her album the week of Christmas as a surprise release. Although I'm also hoping that this year it'll be Mariah, especially if her label get the song off ACR!

Loving the album and hope it sells well up to Christmas. Nice mix of classics and great new songs too. His best album in ages. His performance of the new single on Wossy earlier was the first time I heard it and it was very good. A good new original Xmas song! |
