Going to throw some much needed hype to Lookylion, as nobody else is. That song has a huge chorus that's permanently lodged in my head.
It definitely looks as if it will be an achievement if we avoid the bottom five. Funnily enough, this is probably my second favourite entry that I've sent this year, after High In Brighton, which reached the dizzying heights of 36th, so my taste is kind of misaligned to the majority for my own entries this year Although I guess Voryva is in that top mix too. |

I think I've come to the conclusion that this will be a three-way fight between Fljótavík (hadn't noticed all the personal charts this is now in), Aeroche and Quintessa. I'm not really sure which as I could almost make an equal but very different case for all three.
I think all the other contenders probably have a few too many factors working against them to be able to get past all three of these. |

Plus would the voter base be that different here? In fact I'd say if anything the less-poppy entries would have an advantage here as the PFSC is obviously more skewed towards participants who enjoy pop music. I think there are a couple of missing names from the BJSC pop bloc in the latest PFSC edition. |

When people are saying "all" the personal charts, that is basically just Cody hyperbole for the number 3 right?
(yes I'm embarrassed to admit all the talk made me search 'omnya' in personal charts and that's how many came up... although and at Lewwww putting it as his #1, that's always lovely to see ) |

In fact I'd say if anything the less-poppy entries would have an advantage here as the PFSC is obviously more skewed towards participants who enjoy pop music. I don't think this is actually true - I believe there are quite a few more pop leaning voters who don't enter any of the other song contests so the other contests all kind of have the same bias towards the crowd who do enter everything which tends to be more 'alt' than pop, even in the Pop forum. I voted for the entire top 8 in the latest PFSC, I think that's quite telling...! |

It feels likely I will be getting a 4th sub-30 position out of 5 finalists this year, so hopefully at least a unique position.
Genuinely looking forward to finding out who has actually voted for COBRA - 0 qualification predictions, the only comments about it making the final were of surprise, and I didn't catch either of the listen throughs so absolutely no idea who might like it! |
