It's not just Sky either, Amazon announced that their four live games will be free as well, and with the BBC showing four live Premier League games too, that means 33 of the remaining 92 Premier League games will be free to air!

I'm surprised the dates and kick off times for matches haven't been confirmed yet but it looks like majority of the matches will be held at the home stadiums of teams and only a few will be held neutrally, so the teams who wanted the most to play at their home grounds should be pleased about that.

They're doing them in batches I think. The first 3 games for all teams are out and about. Brighton vs Arsenal has the honour of being the first ever top flight 3pm on a Saturday to be televised! |

Premier League chief executive Richard Masters says he will "fully consider" calls for Newcastle United's proposed takeover to be blocked.
Hatice Cengiz, the fiancee of murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi, has written to the league to oppose the deal. Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) is financing a £300m takeover. |

There were no positive results for coronavirus from 1,195 tests in the latest round of Premier League testing.
The sixth round of twice-weekly screening of players and club staff took place on 4 and 5 June. |

Somehow I suspect that the fund's apparent involvement in a broadcaster showing Premier League matches illegally is more likely to be used as a reason for blocking the takeover than anything trivial such a the murder of a journalist. If so, that will sum up so much of what is wrong about the so-called fit-and-proper-person test. |

The Merseyside derby has been cleared to be held at Everton's Goodison Park stadium, while Liverpool can play home matches at Anfield when the Premier League season restarts.
The match on 21 June could be the first chance for the Reds - who are 25 points clear at the top - to clinch the title. |

A near full strength Arsenal team lost a behind closed doors friendly match against Brentford 3-2, this was after leading the match 2-1 at one point. Not a good sign when they've got Manchester City next Wednesday.

Dele Alli has been suspended for one match by the Football Association over a post on social media about coronavirus.
Alli, 24, put a video on Snapchat in February in which he joked about the outbreak and appeared to mock an Asian man. |

Premier League players' names will be replaced on the back of their shirts with 'Black Lives Matter' for the first 12 matches of the restarted season.
The Premier League will also support any player who chooses to 'take a knee' before or during matches. |
