I can't bring myself to give out 11/10 or -1/10 marks because my mathematical mind won't allow me

Let's begin!
31. Follow My Lead (feat. Esmée Denters) - 4.79 Highest Score: …ready for it (7) Lowest Score: blacksquare (0) UK Chart Peak: DNC US Chart Peak: DNC Follow My Lead wins the infamous wooden spoon! Well this comes as a surprise to absolutely no one It's not bad, but it's also not too good or even memorable especially compared to the rest of his discography. Follow My Lead was released as a fundraising single for "Shriners Hospitals for Children" in 2008 but did nothing chartwise. Esmée Denters would later go on to get a #7 hit with Outta Here and a #3 hit featuring on Chipmunk's Until You Were Gone, and then quickly fall into music irrelevancy - as shown by her brief stint on The Voice UK in 2015 before being booted off in the knockouts 30. Still On My Brain - 5.00 Highest Score: ...ready for it (8) Lowest Score: rafik4u (0) UK Chart Peak: DNC US Chart Peak: DNC Another not-too-surprising loss with Still On My Brain coming in second last. I quite like Still On My Brain and is an underrated track from Justified, although it doesn't really sound like a single more like a simple promotional release. This came after the stellar single chain of Justified as the fifth and final single and is a bit of a flop in comparison (as proved by it's chart peaks & rate votes ) |

I'm regretting not giving Cry Me a River a 10 now, I've listened to it lots since this rate and had forgotten how good it is.
I'm also regretting scoring Filthy as high as I did. Ah well. |

Yes dandy* - "Cry Me A River" is incredible
I've just realised this rate was missing "I'm Lovin' It", his download-only single - chart ineligible at the time because downloads weren't included. That one from the McDonalds ads |

Whoops Oh well like you said I doubt it would’ve made much of an impact if it was included anyway

Poor Esmée may have been spared last place
Also Duran Duran's collab with him "Falling Down" was missing too. Though was it top 40 hits only? |

29. Drink You Away - 5.2 Highest Score: Dexton (9.5) Lowest Score: Scene (-1) UK Chart Peak: DNC US Chart Peak: DNC A disappointing low here really for 20/20 Part 2 single Drink You Away. It's a country inspired song on an album which isn't country in any other way so is a bit out of place but can sort of be seen as a prelude to Man of the Woods where Justin would fully take on a new country style persona. He performed this at the CMA's in 2015 with Chris Stapleton and I think it sounds better live than it did on the album, although those not-so-keen on Stapleton might not agree I quite like this although he has done better and I'm not surprised to see how low it is after everyone else's votes 28. Work It (with Nelly) - 5.59 Highest Score: MvG501 (9.5) Lowest Score: blacksquare, fgi090505, SamJudd (2) UK Chart Peak: 7 US Chart Peak: 68 Tbh the best thing about this was the incredibly corny and iconically early 2000's music video Nelly can make decent songs however this fails to be memorable for him especially considering this was from the same era as Dilemma. Justin sounds as good as ever but again neither of them give much special to this This is, however, the first single out in the rate that actually has charted anywhere! A healthy #7 peak in the UK but underperformed in the US. "They said trim the bush NEKKID" - Justin Timberlake, 2002 This post has been edited by Dexton: Feb 5 2018, 02:00 AM |

27. Filthy - 6.1 Highest Score: Dexton (10), Jonjo, Regina (9.5) Lowest Score: SamJudd (-1) UK Chart Peak: 15 US Chart Peak: 9 CRIMINAL. I mean, how is this out already? Filthy is by far his best this era (with lot's of competition) and channels the production and themes of the best of FutureSex/LoveSounds. It doesn't fit so great on MOTW, but I'm willing to forgive that Filthy was hailed as Justin big comeback and many expected him to debut at #1 in the charts and take the world by storm. But a... mixed... response meant this underperformed everywhere I'm taking this result with a pinch of salt though because it is a new single and hasn't had time to grow on people unlike the others here 26. Until The End of Time (with Beyonce) - 6.28 Highest Score: ...ready for it (10) Lowest Score: blacksquare, Scene, SamJudd, Bjork (4) UK Chart Peak: DNC US Chart Peak: 17 Two of the biggest names in music combine to create a stripped-down ballad with Prince-esque production in a single version of Under The End of Time from Justin's FutureSex/LoveSounds album. The single was a moderate success but hasn't held up as well as his other FS/LS singles, but I still find myself going back to this on a JT nostalgia trip. |

Justin including 'Until The End Of Time' in his halftime performance was SUCH a pleasant surprise! Especially mashed up with 'I Would Die 4 U', my favorite Prince song
Up until doing this rate I always thought 'Work It' sampled 'Back In Black' by AC/DC, but it turns out that's just the version I heard on the radio. The original version sounded a lot worse in comparison |

I'm intrigued by what version you did hear, Riser?!
Wow at "Filthy" going out already. |

Not too surprised at the results so far. Bar maybe, 'Filthy'. But then again that seems very love/hate.
Agreed about the inclusion of 'Until The End of Time' in Superbowl performance |

25. Carry Out (with Timbaland) - 6.4 Highest Score: Regina (10) Lowest Score: fgi090505 (-1) UK Chart Peak: 6 US Chart Peak: 11 Out next is Timbaland's Carry Out, which I only gave a 6 too but listening to it now whilst I type this I'm really digging it and it probably deserves to be a bit higher This was surprisingly released in December 2009 yet sounds distinctively 2006 - yet it hasn't aged too badly despite it's cheesy lyrics/theme/video. Great song but not a huge loss. 24. TKO - 6.43 Highest Score: Regina, Joe (10) Lowest Score: rafiki4u (-1) UK Chart Peak: 58 US Chart Peak: 36 An underrated single (but not by Regina or Joe ) from 20/20 Part 2, TKO falls out next. I'm not sure what I like the most: the song itself or the music video created for it which features Riley Keough, also known as the granddaughter of the one and only Elvis Presley (!!). Same goes for Carry Out though, great song but again not a huugeee loss unlike what's coming up soon This post has been edited by Dexton: Feb 5 2018, 03:58 PM |

TKO is so good! Always was a highlight from the 2nd half of 20/20.
Great to see that 'Tunnel Vision' is still yet to appear. I thought that'd have been revealed already! |
