How is this still a thing. I dunno if I’m a bit harsh on it as I’m actually a geordie myself (yeah I always throw that out there I know!) but the accents are just so bad. Like literally it’s painfully obvious they don’t hire hardly any north east actors to play the roles. I’m intrigued to see what people think of the accents on the show (mainly people who aren’t from where it’s filmed). For me the accent is more teeside. If the show was set in Middlesbrough or somewhere it’d be just about passable but no geordie speaks like that I can tell you that now

I’ve tired of this series. We play a game where we keep track of which character has had by far the least airtime as it’s nearly always them. Plus why does literally everyone in Newcastle lie about everything. You know that the first half is just lies from every character before the second half just unravels them.

I seen parts of tonight’s show and Christ it’s got worse as it’s went on.
Again the accents are appalling and Vera herself accents got worse as well as years have went on. Nobody talks like this in Newcastle. Pls just hire actual north east actors. |
