I'm surprised we don't have a topic for this! The show was recently announced that it's going to have a sixth (and unfortunately final) season next year, and its fifth season is running currently. Do we have any other fans of this?

I've binge-watched the whole thing in one week. It is one of the most addictive shows I've seen with an absolutely fantastic cast. It stars the INCREDIBLE Catherine O'Hara (who is once again incredible in this, and gives me parallels to Jane Krakowski's comedic melodrama but better) alongside Eugene Levy and his son Dan and daughter Sarah, as well as other famous faces.

If you haven't watched this yet you absolutely HAVE to. I've actually never been so moved by a show ever (aka I've sobbed for an hour at the latest episode today and it's not the first time I've been an emotional wreck watching this x) whilst still being one of the most funny and RIDICULOUS things I've ever seen. Despite the shows premise being centred around an egotistical riches-to-rags family, it's still incredibly relatable and has a lot of great running storylines. Plus Moira must be one of the best and well-thought-out comedy characters ever.

Absolutely YES. I've never seen a sitcom handle issues such as mental health, sexuality, alcoholism, sexism and race so effortlessly whilst being so so funny as well!

your queen of taste has arrived to back up both of those sentiments xoxo

I didn't think I'd enjoy schitts creek as much as I did, it was always on my recommended but I was just like nah it looks kinda dull but I was so wrong, the characters went from irritating to so lovable for me, the writing is so good and the plotlines and character development but more than anything it is hysterical. I think it's the relationships between the characters that are the most relatable and that's what makes the show as you've got a kind of dysfunctional family who end up finding worth in each other rather than their possessions/status so it's nice to see them get closer as it goes on, there's also an incredible friendship dynamic between David and Stevie, the latter who ends up basically being part of the family anyway and ofc some of the best romantic relationships I've seen on tv.

so yes everyone should watch this and lew watch one day at a time, its a different sort of humour but it's still very funny and like Jack said, the way it handles social issues etc is first class *.*

I watched a chunk of the first season 2 years ago on a mate's netflix when i was in the US and recently got back into it and I'm up to season 3 now. I love it, it's really funny and it's very well written and performed. Shame that it's ending but i'm glad that it's ending while the quality is still super strong.

it's one of those shows where I can just pick a random episode and watch it again, I could quite easily rewatch the entire series in order again too ofc - I only really do that with like Brooklyn Nine Nine, Drag Race, Friends etc but I'm excited to be able to watch more season 5 as it's probs my fave season

I only discovered Schitt's Creek a couple of months ago, and without any exaggeration I can say this is one of my favourite shows of all time wub.gif It's just perfect! Fell in love with pretty much every character so quickly, and with each season the writing somehow becomes even stronger & more funny. Love love love. Will definitely re-watch it all in advance of the final season next year.

This show is by far one of the greatest written sitcoms I've seen in recent time. Each character is so likeable (except Rowland but he's needed for the others to bounce off).

Moira will go down as a classic Karen from Will & Grace type character in future. Alexis gets better and better with each season.

I honestly love it and I am SO happy it's getting Emmy notice. The red carpet looks are going to be a SERVE.
