Here is the first question and we have two pointless answers. One being my absolute favourite film of last year with 'Kingsman' and the second one being 7th place, 'Me & Earl And The Dying Girl', so congratulations to the two moderators for winning this round! 3 other answers, 2 of which are Marvel films. The under appreciated 'Ant-Man' and the film which ended up being my 2nd favourite film of the year, 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron'.
The correct answer that scored the most points was the incredibly genius, beautiful and emotional as well as the first of two Disney Pixar films of the year, 'Inside Out'. But poor Dobbo. Going for a complete guess and misfiring completely by not only going for a film I've not seen in full, but also a film I actively avoided due to Melissa McCarthy AND Jason Statham.
Nobody seemed to go for 'Star Wars', 'Mad Max' or 'Big Hero 6' though!
The full list can be seen http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s=&showtopic=185262&view=findpost&p=5270343 btw. Feel free to add your own!

Onto the next question and I really couldn't do a round of movies pointless without a Disney Pixar question. This time I asked you all to name me a film that had been confirmed for release, that hadn't been released yet. Dobbo & Chez both scored pointless this round with their pretty "risky but paid off" answers. 'Toy Story 4' which is scheduled for a 2018 release and 'Cars 3' which is pencilled in for 2017!
This years Pixar release 'Finding Dory', which is a sequel based on one of Pixar's best loved films (and one of my all time favourites) 'Finding Nemo'. Scores 4 members, 3 points! But the biggest and most popular answer comes courtesy of 'Coco'. Another ORIGINAL Pixar story which is scheduled for a 2017 release too! It's set to be directed by Lee Unkrich ('Toy Story 3') and (according to wiki) "Coco is about a spirited 12-year-old Mexican boy named Miguel, who lives with a big family in rural Mexico and discovers a generational mystery revolving around Día de los Muertos that will change his life.". Exciting, but it cost 5 members points, as they each score 4 points!
f*** you Jonjo and your f***ing questions

A question in which, I admit, I probably had the upper-hand over most of you, but it's not like I've not expressed my love for Kevin Spacey over this forum before. We also have two more members with a pointless score as both Josh & Chez go for some fairly inspired choices. The turning point for Pratt for me was obviously 'Guardians Of the Galaxy' and for Joseph, it was ever since I saw him in '(500) Days Of Summer'!
Dobbo & Haus both go for my all time fave (and currently Oscar-less) Leo DiCaprio! 'Inception' and most notably 'Shutter Island' were the deciding factors for me! Ryan Gosling & Fassbender are also answers, but not pointless ones as they score points for those members! Mack probably had the 'Kingsman' is fave film of the year, so Colin Firth might be a fave... but in all honesty, as charming as ol' Firth can be, 'Kingsman' was the first film which really peaked my interest in him and he was more than an actor "for the oldies". Poor Regina. Trying to make Sebastian happen. I like him, but he isn't what pulls me in to see a film.
Dying ad Regina

I'm really surprised more people didn't opt to go for actors in costumes as opposed to "real life" characters. Chewbacca manages to score me a pointless! Samuel L Jackson also manages to score a pointless score for Dobbo and Regina gets one for a very, very well thought answer in, JOEL EDGERTON! Really impressed me with that guess for some reason lol! Luke Skywalker himself only gets 1 point for both Chez & Mack and obviously on Buzzjack, Princess Leia is the one to score the most points, scoring 2 points each to the moderators and Josh!
Nobody decides to go for Harrison Ford though. Maybe everyone thought he'd be an obvious answer! Also Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen and Darth Vader himself, David Prowse didn't manage to become answers!
Joel is a hunky man in his 40's, of course I was gonna go for him

This is one question I wish I re-asked and thought about a bit more. It was far too broad a question and I'm just surprised that there were TWO answers, that weren't "Pointless". Poor flops. Some incredibly inspired answers here though. Notably Joe. & Mack. Regina risking it by going for one of the biggest songs of all time, let alone Oscar winner and even Ultraviolence1989's fave got a mention as John Legend manages to help 'Glory' score as a pointless answer for J▲hq.
'Let It Go' is one of the biggest Disney songs of all time and if I was to guess a song that'd not be pointless, I guessed it would be this. A great song all round though! Chez and Bal, both clash in their answer as they go for another Disney classic, 'Colours Of The Wind' from the movie 'Pocahontas'!
Did I say Alec Guinness or Mark Hamill? (I actually can't remember )
yay for getting two other pointlesses so far tho, one being a complete stab in the dark *.*

I was always gonna have a question about my favourite director! He's supposed to be a tough director to work with, but boy does it pay off! Everything is always precise and dark with him and he's such a perfectionist! 'Zodiac' kicked us off with a pointless for UV! His most underrated film I think. His more "tame" movies in 'The Social Network' & 'Curious Case...' also manage to score pointless along with 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' remake and Regina manages to find a successful loophole! With the question, I meant "directed by David Fincher", but I was stupid and didn't specify, so he scores a pointless for being a clever little sod!
His most notoriously bad film and his best/one of the VERY best films of all time are the ones to score points! 'Alien 3' is known for being dreadful, but he is not at fault for that. 'Se7en' is one of the most critically acclaimed and appreciated films of our time and it's absolutely fantastic. It's my favourite film of all time <3 And it is Kevin Spacey's best role to date!
Poor Dobbo for scoring incorrectly and saying "I Am David Fincher". I'm surprised NOBODY went for either 'Fight Club' or 'Gone Girl'!
What did I get for the Star Wars question, I don't see my name there
Oops not doing great at this! The results are so fun to follow though
I actually don't mind Glory despite featuring it There was no way I wasn't going to go for Queen Idina, I still would have been happy going for it even if about like 10 people went for it!
I only put Full Frontal because it sounded like a Regina-ish movie
Either getting top answers or pointless so far, I had to sift through your all your movie posts using the search tool to find out that you like JGL , took me ages

So the three old hags score pointless! I'm surprised Madonna get more answers and I actually forgot about her until Bal sent his answers in! Mine & a Regina fave, Justin Timberlake, manages to score a point for myself and Joe. Whilst Regina fave J Lo also manages to score a point and everyone's favourite Man In Black and mardy bum, Will Smith, gives Chez & Mack a point each.
Dobbo suggested Nicki Minaj... a very successful musician but actress? She's starred in a couple of things, but nothing that got people talking or something she hasn't had "success" in. Now on to the Queen Latifah answer by Regina. For the basis that I'm not scoring Nicki Minaj with pointless, when it's the opposite for Queen L (very successful actress, not so much as a musician). SORRY!
The best two of that lot being the 2 incorrect ones!! Loved Queen Latifah in Hairspray and Nicki Minaj in The Other Woman
Yay for J-Lo only scoring a point

You can see the results here. I only wish I rephrased this question to avoid so many HP answers! But yeahhhh. Also 'The Bling Ring' is shit, which is why it's probably the only one to score points as they thought it'd be an easy pointless
I thought Minaj's iconic role in The Other Woman warranted a punt

You should all know by now that I do love my horrors. There's nothing like the feeling and thrill of being scared and not being able to move from where you've watched the film just because of how scary it is to go and put the light on! So I asked for you all to name a horror movie that's scheduled to be released in 2016. There were three pointless answers here.
The first came courtesy of Acidburn with his answer in which he gave us the third installment of the incredibly successful 'Purge' series. Another movie I am anticipating a fair amount is the period, drama, comedy, horror, 'Pride & Prejudice And Zombies', which looks ridiculous but incredibly fun too. Joe. manages to score another pointless with his answer, in which he went for a film which has been named "the scariest movie of 2016", 'The Witch'.
We had 3 incorrect answer this round too. Dobbo decided to go for another 'Paranormal Activity' film, but there are none scheduled this year as the last one was released back in October. Whether it's the last one, for sure, we won't know until the near future. Mack decided to go for a kids film, 'Goosebumps'. The TV show was hella scary and the books were even scarier, but I believe this film is more fantasy, adventure, comedy as opposed to any sort of horror. And lastly we have Regina who, by sheer luck of timing, suggested '10 Cloverfield Lane'. I was umming and ahhing about this one as I would have thought it would be horror, but I checked IMDB to make sure and they don't have this down as a horror, but have 'Cloverfield' as one. So I can't award you a pointless for this unfortunately
Surprisingly (?) nobody seemed to go for 'The Boy' (pictured - for which I sincerely apologise. It's horrific).
I am SOOOOOO excited for The Witch FYI. I love well made, actually scary horror. They very rarely happen anymore.
I don't wanna come off as pissy but Queen Latifah was nominated for an Oscar for a musical where she sang and is highly regarded as a musician especially among
the female rap genre. 6 Grammy nominations with one win. Loads of hip hop artists have named her as an influence too. I'd say she's about as successful as Will Smith
Also the first Cloverfield is a horror so surely the follow up would be classed as one? just because IMDB doesn't put it as one based on a teaser trailer.
Hoping horror is better this year, realised I didn't see a single one released in 2015 (unless The Gift counts)
Goosebumps is a 100% not a horror movie, such a fun fantasy comedy movie though and is great, highly recommend it I thought 10 Cloverfield Lane was also a horror movie, shocked IMDB don't have it under horror
Getting the most points again with The Forest

NOTES:
- Congratulations to CHEZ for winning this round of pointless.
- I will (somehow) break all ties tomorrow.
- Regina has been awarded "Pointless" for his Queen Latifah answer. His answer for question 9, remains incorrect though.
- Thank you for playing you guys and gals! Appreciate ittttt <3 <3
Ha, that's the best I've ever done in any Pointless round I think *.* (was hoping my loophole of Beauty & The Beast for the Beast for the Emma Watson film would be a winner, albeit almost EVERYONE got a pointless there!), thanks for hosting Jonjo!
Pride & Prejudice & Zombies looks so odd yet brilliant, kinda want to read the book first though.
Wow didn't think I'd do this well, but joint runner up is pretty good, thanks for hosting this.
Well done Chez for winning! Also fantastic hosting Jonjo, loved the questions and the result presentation
Not great for me but could have been worse!
And if anyone is interesting in hosting the next pointless or family fortunes and want to start it in a few days, please private message Jahq and I. Regina is going to host one in a few weeks and hopefully we can do another one before!
Joe will be hosting the next game in a couple of days, but with a twist! (Which I'm sure you will all love)
If you still interested in hosting one in the near future, please pretty much read the post above on what to do
Oops didn't do very well this time around.
Not a fan of horror movies because I'm a big scaredy pants so team Goosebumps too Mack :lol
Thank you for hosting Jonjo
Thanks Jonjo, - (further thanks to including The Bling Ring from me when my phone autocorrected it and sent 'The Blind Ring')
Hype for my new game please. Any guesses?
Celine am I still good to host my non-FF/Pointless game today then?
