BuzzJack Music Forum _ Pop _ Least Favourite Pixie Lott Single (Round 2)

Posted by: LushLife 4th May 2016, 06:46 PM

Finishing at #14 is the floptastic 'Break Up Song' which peaked at an incredible #480 on iTunes despite promotion on the national lottery & CBBC. I never really stanned for 'Break Up Song' in comparison to other songs on her self titled album 'Pixie Lott', I was in desperate need for 'Champion' and 'Ain't Got You' as singles but 'Break Up Song' is a lovely song with lovely lyrics and a beautiful video. While we are on discussion of 'Pixie Lott', I can't even at how much this album failed commercially, the album was such a strong album and could have had multiple singles released if it bothered to do well / radio supporting her. Thankfully we are edging closer to the return of Pixie.

14. Pixie Lott - Break Up Song [13/51 - 26%]

Champion so should have been a single! By far the best on the album sad.gif

Can't Make This Over as I don't remember it (and what do you take me for doesn't seem to be going anywhere yet)

No one needs to be in a Caravan, not even Pixie.

Can't Make This Over

I actually LOVE 'Can't Make This Over, It shouldn't have been a single over 'Doing Fine (Without You)' and 'Coming Home'. I'm actually sad that it all went wrong for Pixie following the release of 'What Do You Take Me For', I'm guessing had she had the X-Factor slot that was originally planned the album / single would have done a little bit better.

Her biggest problem was releasing 'Nasty' as a single, I'm hoping she returns with a guest feature which is something she's avoided doing minus 'What Do You Take Me For' and Pusha T is not really a massive name.

This was a hard decision, I love myself some Pixie, I went for Lay Me Down, but now I feel like I just picked it because it under performed. But I like her version of Caravan Of Love, although it would have been my second pick.

Nasty

I find Nasty quite catchy actually. I guess I see the hate for it, it has that kind of attitude that sums it up as a sort of guilty pleasure for me.

I haven't heard CMTO before I don't think and COL wasn't anything memorable either so glad they are set to follow biggrin.gif

(Loving how Kiss the Stars only has one vote so far, surprised at that but it's another fun guilty pleasure for me kink.gif)

Can the voter of Boys and Girls reveal themselves tho plz
