In the same vein as the old 'Floorfillers' thread and an update to my previous Spotify playlist thread, here is the place to see all of the songs featured on BBC Radio 1's Dance Anthems on a Friday evening as presented by Greg James (and occasionally Dev).

There are a lot of songs from 2016 being carried over at the moment... Whether they're getting second pushes or Radio 1 are struggling for their search for new tracks?

The Mark Knight track is great, it actually reminds me a little of the instrumental from a track I remember from 2007 called Counting Down The Days by Sunfreakz, and certainly deserves to be pushed by daytime Radio 1 too imo even if it isn't brand new.

Yes there are plenty of good new dance tracks, I am particularly hoping they will play Baby by Bakermat soon on Dance Anthems or Hit The Road Jack by Throttle.

I'm surprised they're still playing Yebisah actually - that song is well old.

Yes it would need a vocal to do well, I might put one on it myself and maybe work with danG to put it on rightly and send it to Mark Knight but I doubt there are any professional vocals that are free to use

Yes danG has done a mashup with a vocal acapella, I just need him to change the settings on the clyp.it file so I can download it and add a few minor effects to the climaxes.

Is this good enough a vocal? Me and danG worked on this mashup (mostly danG with adding the Like Home vocal and he did a great job ) but I thought it needed additional string bursts in the climax too so it was epic enough after the vocal buildup, so I added those.

A question, have there been any trance songs at all over the last year or so making Radio 1s Dance Anthems? Or on any night time Friday or Saturday Radio 1 dance show? As far as I know the last new trance song played by Radio 1 was the Arty remix of Hey Now, I am sure there have been more I am unaware of though.

I had to bring this up, is there a reason they’ve been playing Astronomia or are they just aware of its meme and want to join that bandwagon because they don’t mention the background for it I mean I love it I’m just surprised it’s being played like a new song

On Saturday's Dance Anthems a few weeks ago MistaJam played it and mentioned that it was from a meme! Really glad it's getting played on Radio 1 anyhow, tune.
