 Looks like Emma Atkins maybe to me, people are saying Gaby Roslin too which I can also kinda see. Other rumours are Brian McFadden, Wes from Love Island and Helen Skelton. |

Will be interesting to see how well James does considering he can dance normally but I guess on ice it can be different.

James Jordan? What a joke. Yes, he’s not a skater but that’s just one element of it. He’s got a complete headstart in terms of learning routines, rhythm/movements etc and could even help choreograph routines!!
Although I suppose the joke started with Gemma being signed up, no chance she’ll stick it out/give it any effort. |

I thought that with James, even if he is totally hopeless at skating to begin with, he has a huge headstart and will probably be one of the best as he will only have to learn skating whereas the others are learning two things at once. I hope he's not another Jake as that was boring af that he just cruised to the win last time, it was part of why the series felt a bit limp.
And OF COURSE no comments about his dance experience underneath its announcement on Twitter, just "mmm hunk xxxxxx" from Susan, 45 from Bridgewater.... Also Saira Khan's signed up *.* |

James will definitely have a headstart! The dances they do in Strictly are also used in ice dance too so all of his experience and athleticism will be a very strong start point for him. It'll just be a case of not freaking out that it's on ice now!
