Finishing in the first medal position out, it's the glorious, sensational and beautiful Rain. The soaring ballad, which was later included on Something to Remember tells of how rain and love can wash away any pain and ills. It's a calming song with a lovely message of hope, strength and empowerment. The music video is shot stunningly (and is one of my all time favourites from her) featuring a bold daring look for Madonna adorned by light and washed out by the brightness. A brilliant song, that while it deviates from a lot of the more abrasive nature of the album, stands out for that reason.

The colour pallet for the 'Rain' video is absolutely gorgeous!

'Erotica' for me, leaving 'Deeper & Deeper' for the win! Slightly surprised at 'Erotica' making it to the final but a worthy entry all the same.

Love the Rain video....preferred the album edit so I was pleased they used it on the video rather than the slightly more upbeat and totally unnecessary single version. I recall being a little shocked when I first saw it (probably on the chart show) as she suddenly looked much slimmer.

Anyway both these last two songs are worthy of the win but I slightly prefer Erotica for its dirty beats and artistic style.

Voted earlier in the week for Erotica. Even though it is possibly the track that least represents the era, Deeper and Deeper is the best thing on the album.
