 Welcome to the Semis! Loved the rules of the confirmation period? You are going to love these even more: 1) You must vote for your 10 faves using the Eurovision-system (12, 10, 8-1) 2) No voting for yourself (seriously, has anyone ever tried that??) or the AQ 3) Vote only in your own semi, your lovely host will vote in both 4) Non-voters will be subject to a 33% deduction 5) Late votes will be accepted at the discretion of the host (let's face it, I am going to deal with all the votes closer to the deadline only the next day, so I will accept (not too) late votes - HOWEVER, votes submitted after 15th July 23:59 BST will be subject to a 15% deduction) Soo, please PM the votes to me (FrankLuck) until 15th July 23:59 BST (or some hours later, if you're really into deduction and other kinky stuff). Know a few of these songs - love both Birdsong and I Hope You're Happy which are/were Personal Top 40 hits for me and I've heard the Post Malone cover before but wasn't so sure since I hated the original

Finally WEDNESDAY CAMPANELLA get a second chance in the contest
(I haven't heard this song, but I have heard their other recent Moodoïd collab 'Matryoshka' which was pretty fab so a good sign). Loving how Jordan has now sent both of the artists that were on 'iSpy' to BJSC despite (if I recall correctly) hating that song The AQ looks very familiar, is that the one (/ one of the ones) I really loved from your CD Swap Frank? Or just the same artist, not sure. ;o Aside from that I think I've already heard an unusually high 5 songs in my semi, and another 4 from the other semi, mostly good stuff. The last main BJSC feels so long ago, excited to get back into some new tunes  There are so many people in semi 1 who are gonna haaaate my song haha. Fully expecting a DNQ for sure this time but it's my favourite song at the moment so I took the risk on it anyway, hope it's a good discovery for a few (and hopefully J.I.D will go on to be as big in the real world as Kendrick Lamar/J. Cole anyway xx) |

I am comfortable with this semi. Looking like some good stuff, Daehun being cheap but with a fantastic K-Pop song that I've wanted to see in the contest for a while, Little Comets are a band I've been interested to see in this contest too.
