By now we're all familar with the Kiss Me Once album and all it's tracks. Sleeping With The Enemy was only a bonus track but a lot of people seem to think it not only belongs
on the main album but that it also should have been a single.
What are your thoughts on this? Could it have performed well as a single? If it lead the era, would it go top 10 and give the album more life?
I do totally agree, this was wasted as a bonus track, and yes it could have worked as a single, along with decent promo and a sexy music video, another lost opportunity from KMO. If the singles went = Into The Blue>>Les Sex>>Sleeping With The Enemy>>If Only
There's no question this should've been on the main album, I thought that since I first heard it. It's a gorgeous track, quite dreamy and I love the vocals. It sort of reminds me a little bit of something from Dannii's Girl era.
I often find that album bonus tracks which only appear on the deluxe version of an album tend to be some of the albums best tracks. I think record companies do it deliberately to encourage buyers to purchase the more expensive deluxe edition. This is a great song and a lot better than most of other tracks on the standard edition.
I don't get the fuss.
This song is just screaming to feature in a film soundtrack. I love it and think it had real potential as a single too
