Mentioning payola is pointless too because most artist that get national radio support have big record labels behind them which is why they get the support in the first place radio play wise.

Its all circular!!

Not as far as I know, I’m pretty sure AJ Tracey is independent and he’s been on the playlist lots now. Georgia isn’t on any major record companies either and she’s been consecutively A Listed 3 times, without her songs doing anything chart wise.
