So, is anyone else going to bother? I watched the first episode and it's solid, but it was very much a case of hitting all the necessary marks. Tough woman in a mans job has to act tough to get things done/be respected (check), mystery we are supposed to care about but don't because nobody else does apart from the main character (check), CIA/America saving the lives of someone in an African country that wouldn't have needed saving if they had done their job right in the first place (check), fabulous middle aged actress in supporting role (check check check) etc. It's giving me major Madam Secretary vibes, except Tea is a much more likeable star than Katherine. I would say 7/10 for the pilot, with potential to grow, but it could just as easily get stuck in a rut if it doesn't get the case of the week/overarcing story thing right. |

So I've picked this up tonight and am actually rather loving it. On episode two now and it's built on the pilot in an interesting way. Anyone else watching this?

I gave up once it was obviously going to be cancelled. Got no time for big mystery shows which will never give me answers.
