I wouldn't be surprised if it does, TBH. 'Story of My Life' gained 19m+ between those two updates, while 'Best Song Ever' gained 11m+. Can see BSE steadying off, but I think SOML will keep increasing.

I'm actually really surprised that 'Best Song Ever' didn't surpass 'Live While We're Young' or 'One Thing' at all. Or am I overestimating how much they promoted it / how "blockbuster-esque" it was?

tbf it's not really surprising if they are removing cheat views because when there's a new video all I see on Twitter is 1D fans saying "LET'S BREAK THE VEVO RECORD!!!!!1!"

To be fair, Live While We're Young has almost a year's advantage on Best Song Ever, and One Thing has even longer
 Not as if they've slowed down a great deal either.Not at all shocked to see the two recent singles struggling in comparison to the rest, they've not been hits of any kind anywhere, and Gotta Be You was around when WMYB was blowing up worldwide so probably got a lot of views just through it being one of two other videos they had at the time (with One Thing) ~ |
