Gary Anderson will not be competing at the German Darts Grand Prix this weekend. 'The Flying Scotsman' will have to miss the Euro Tour tournament in Munich due to a shoulder injury, Online Darts reported.
The Scot's injury came to light earlier in March when he was forced to concede during a Players Championship match. In a match against Martin Schindler, he indicated at a 3-3 interval that he could not continue playing because of pain in his shoulder |

Gary Anderson made a small jump on the PDC Order of Merit after "The Flying Scotsman" won the European Darts Grand Prix last weekend.
For the Scot, it was his first Euro Tour title in 10 years. He defeated Ross Smith in the final 8-6 to take the title. With this title, Anderson earned the top prize of 30,000 pounds, allowing him to trade 24th place for 21st in the world rankings |

Luke Littler won his third night of the Premier League season with a comfortable 6-2 win over Rob Cross in Liverpool.
Littler has become a fan favourite across the UK, but with the 17-year-old a fan of Manchester United he was roundly booed by the 8,500-capacity crowd. He played up to it though, often cupping his hands to his ears, and signalling 2-0 to the crowd ahead of his quarter-final in response to Liverpool's defeat at Everton on Wednesday. Littler, who beat Gerwyn Price and Nathan Aspinall to reach the final, raced into a five-leg lead in the final before seeing out the win after a brief Cross fightback. |
