GP3 champion George Russell will be driving for Force India in the first Friday practice sessions at Brazil & Abu Dhabi.
Between then Kubica, Di Resta or rumours of Kvyat and Wehrlein being talked. |

I can’t see Wehrlein or Kvyat getting the drive. As much as Mercedes want Pascal in the seat, Martini require one of the drivers to be at least 25 so that pretty much rules either of them out. Wehrlein has hardly been outshining Ericsson and Kvyat is too much of a risky move for them to piss off Martini...

At least it made for an entertaining race, definitely a welcome return to the calendar these past few years for Mexico. I'm also beginning to wonder if Danny & Max swapped cars for the final 5 or 6 races. How the pendulum has swung! Definitely loving the Mexican GP! One of my favourite circuits on the calendar. I've invested in an F1 game for the first time in a decade and a half so have been learning a load of the new tracks since. I used to race on the old version of the Mexican circuit which was great but the changes they have made are fantastic - particularly that stadium section at the end. Also the Chinese and American circuits are excellent! Also have been thinking the same re: Max and Daniel! Although it really is just down to the power unit parts they're fitting. Max must've got the duds earlier in the season and now Daniel is getting them. Just by chance. This post has been edited by Lenny: Nov 10 2017, 10:53 AM |

Massa retires from F1, again. Have to say I'm glad - it was weird seeing him almost begging for a race seat for next season after he was supposed to retire 12 months ago. Kimi should really be next. He's not the driver he was, as much as I like him. Re: the Williams seat, I've heard ANOTHER name has been added to the mix in Felix Rosenqvist... Gasly and Hartley have now been confirmed as Toro Rosso’s 2018 lineup. Just the two Sauber seats and the remaining Williams one left to be confirmed!

Red Bull have made it clear that Kvyat has reached a dead-end. The goal for Toro Rosso is basically to test out drivers with a view to moving them up to the main team. Kvyat has hardly set the track alight since being stepped down, and has rightly been given the boot.
Whether Hartley is an improvement on Kvyat or not, only time will tell. Considering he hasn’t raced single seaters in a few years, he’s been incredibly quick (similarly paced to Gasly, who has recently competed in Japanese Super Formula & GP2). I have no doubt he’ll work hard over winter to improve and become more worthy of the drive. |

I'll give Hartley half a season if he doesn't score any points or impress.

The new logo is truly hideous.
Alfa Romeo is returning to the grid as the title sponsor and technical partner of Sauber!!! The wait until testing starts again at the end of feb is too long |

Very surprised that Ericsson is staying for next year. Money talks?, no points this year with Wehrlein not even having a drive for 2018.
Lederec has joined Alfa Romeo Sauber as well. |
