The show starts at 8PM BST and this is one you don't want to miss!

Are you ready for the TWIST? After the Semi Results show, I can give you one more hint: there is no twist whatsoever.

The votes will be revealed in pairs in order of submission, beginning with the votes of the host, Land of DW and ending with the last one received, the Beaverdonian votes.
Yes. it is true. You will need to wait until the very end to learn who received Meekul's 18 points. The tension is real.

So, after the wildly manipulated semi results, there is no manipulation in the final reveal at all.
Because sometimes life writes better stories than anything you could come up with.

Sounds interesting, sadly won't be able to follow these ones live - from those hints dropped it's either super-duper close or it's a double bluff & someone's landslid (or is it landslided?)

Anyway, for me I'd be happy with a top 20 finish & at least TWO 18's.

I would love to get my first top 20 this time, I've seen a few top 10 predictions but NOT allowing myself to believe this yet, don't wanna set myself up only to finish 22nd-24th again x

Some wonderful songs here that should have a chance of the spotlight tho, bring it on.

I'll hopefully be able to make most of it too... not sure what to expect either so that's kind of exciting - hopeful for a top half finish from the predictions but I've only really seen Brade hype so who knows.

Hi Guys,

When I finished preparing the posts, I realised that I f-up up the 2nd (!!!!) set of votes (so the first post). And not by a point, but like I copied a completely different set of votes, it fs up the results.

I will need to do the spreadsheet basically from scratch, live, so no formatting, etc... I'm awfully sorry, will try to do my best

Good evening from Carellis, thanks to Land of DW for another great first time hosting job, let's get to the Persephonian votes for the final of BJSC 106 ~

Our top points this time go with relative ease to the utterly glorious classical/electronic piece from Fljótavík! As with Deandria a couple of contests back we were surprised to find that the big FLJ have actually never received our top marks in the final before, their previous best being 2nd place with Halls (BJSC 47), Space Above (BJSC 75) and Kenton Slash Demon (BJSC 82) so this is a much overdue 18 for a nation who are consistently great when not sourcing their entries from Radio 2 15 points to Terra Avium (the fourth time we've given them 15 since they last topped our votes ;o), a beautiful and spacey multicultural synthpop tune with a fab video and of course a much appreciated Persephonia recycle, here's to KOM_I and co doing a lot better this time ~ our top 3 is then completed by Aelandor who continue fighting to be our favourite country of the year with another bit of awesome heavy and distorty rock, and from another Nine Inch Nails-adjacent act (coincidence?)

Our hosts Land of DW get 12 points from us for the second time in a row, very glad that this song has escaped the obscurity of CD Swap as it is a total banger. Speaking of total bangers, 11 points go Dobago's way with the new and improved version of deadmau5's 'Strobe', while Cowtermont continue their run of great entries and get 10 more points from us with their choral-y trance tune. A much more chill vibe for our next two votes, Quintessa take home 9 points with their anniversary entry, beautiful as ever from Ólafur, while Jadakissnia grab 8 points with their understated RÜFÜS-esque vibes. 7 points (what else x) for Trifoski's earwormy classic rock sounding track and it's 6 points for Unovia, making our votes for the second contest in a row with a powerful bit of electronic music. Feels far too low, this is easily our strongest top 10 of the year so far methinks.

Rolloland feature in our votes as always, 5 points this time (again seems too low) for their boppy old skool rave tune. Yaaass at top 3, had a bit of a confidence rollercoaster with this entry, I entered being like ok this is a good one but when it got hype I was like err this might actually under-perform then as the results went on that dissolved a bit

YES, I mean it's not my 18 granted, but that is not a song I'd EVER expect to get anywhere near winning BJSC Such a wonderful surprise as it was one of my favourites and wasn't far from my top marks anyway, Very well done Dandy*, would never have clocked that myself!

17th, it's not 22nd at least Got slightly terrified with that drought at the end there, but I'll take that. I'm quite glad I didn't start to believe those predictions! Thanks for everyone who voted and hooray for a halfway hit at least!

WHAT a winner!!! I think that may be my 2nd favourite winner ever after 'Free Tibet' (3rd if I count 'Cry For Freedom' as well x), an absolute moment. Amazed that it actually happened, I thought it would be one that did very well through getting lots of big points but not quite well enough to go all the way! Congrats Dandy and thanks for a wonderful discovery. (You also join me and (sort of) Michael in the exclusive ranks of instrumental main contest winners! finally another one of those *.*)

Thanks to Noah (my second biggest points of the night yay! still can't believe it was Taahino giving me my only medal position) and the Fragrant Beaver giving us another small mealworm in the last two votes <3 I feel like it's only right following the events in this thread that I ended up one place behind 'Shopping In Lidl' Not quite avoiding the bottom 10 in the end but 29th is still higher than many of my predictions so I'll take it, at least it's top 30! Like I said earlier I'm really just happy to have got a pure hip-hop song to the final after the valiant failures of Yung Lean and BROCKHAMPTON, anything over that was a nice bonus (and I got as many as 21 votes which is pretty great!)

Omg what a standout winner!! I didn't vote for it and was hoping for Cowtermont but still majorly impressed, so congrats Fljotavik!

That top 10 looks a lot better than it did earlier on, amazing to see Niceland and Oslol there after being two of the last to get off 0 points IIRC.

My only other finalist this year was 34th with 111 points so finishing 33rd with 120 gives me a new personal best for 2018. Thanks to everyone I haven't thanked yet - and thanks again Frank for hosting, it was very well paced even with re-adding up all the scores on the spot!

that's an amazing winner. well done Dandy for the surprise takeover right at the end, made for real intensity and excitement following. in fact as my votes showed I pointed all of the top 3 so incredible trio there.
also happy for St Burbia and Niceland too. both of those were humongous growers for me, I knew Rich would give Romantic his 18 too as it sounds very much like The Rua to me!

great for Rolloland just snatching top 20 as well.

I'm thrilled to finally(!!) get top 5. I thought it sounded like a safe hit but didn't think it would end up as high as 4th, more along the lines of 12th or something so thank you everyone who pointed it, noticeably Iz and Seven who I didn't think would vote for it!

i'd always thought Niceland were perpetually underrated but they've gone and smashed again! Romantic is really good

was clearing a space on my shelf for that wooden spoon but 25th is good enough too, especially for a male rock song with no hype thanks to the people who voted us and ofc Suedeonia for the 18!

My position in the table steadily went down as the contest went on but I just managed a top 20 position. I'm happy with that. I see Jacob gave me one point in the semi and then 18 in the final,my song must have grown on him!

Congrats Dandy, what a great entry after a veto and changing the song to 'Hypocrite' in the last minute!

I already knew the Semi results, but I was still nearly crapping my pants while registering the votes, it was so close all the way... Cowtermont would've been an awesome winner too (not to mention Unovia), so it was a win-win honestly (well, for me).
Although tonight was a major flop from my side, I am so, so happy that I had the opportunity to host this contest! It is really something that all of us participating in BJSC should experience sooner or later, it's awesome to be a lot more involved in the process, 'knowing what noone knows', it really made my month special.

At one point the top 10 had 8 of my votes in, ended up with only 5 due to some late pop hoe surges but still 4 of my faves ending up in the top 5 along with Summericia which I did like as well, and glad they have got a new peak again, as well as the big new peaks for Cowtermont and Frandoot! Very pleased that Jadakissnia snatched a top 5 in the end (Jade is very excited again x) and Quintessa scraping into the top 10 again too <3 Pretty respectable showings for Terra Avium (even though I was foolishly hoping it'd be a fair bit higher), Aelandor and Trifoski as well. Oslol really came out of nowhere to end up doing well after all! Don't doubt my psychicness (except when I thought S DNLD was favourite to win, what happened there x)

Me only just making it out of the semi again eep! I did think semi 2 would probably have been better for me (although it seems I held onto all but one of those that voted for me in the semi, and actually picked up points from a few countries that didn't vote for me in the semi). Oh my at how close St. Burbia was to DNQing and then coming top 10 in the end, INNA all over again!
