New Rihanna and new Adele seem to give off notice.

Was that ever on the Radio 1 playlist? I feel like I heard it on there but it's weird that it never made the top 75 if that was the case.

Anna Sun was playlisted in autumn 2012, yeah!

Might be biased by how much I adore it but this does sound like a potential big hit to me:

currently #1 in Sweden

potentially the Waves of 2015 except not as big, sounds quite good and with it being a deep house/sax song it'll certainly have a chance of smashing

This is MNEK's next single, which I'm assuming will be released next year. He is being tipped as a star in the making by just about everybody and this is his best song to date, so addictive! Should at least be his first solo top 40.

Even if this doesn't smash, its only a matter of time before he becomes massive.

Kygo feat. Conrad - Firestone

Needs to be HUGE.

Alex Adair - Make Me Feel Better

As well as 'Wish You Were Mine' I can see this doing well if it gets a release, has a similar vibe with the whole sampling an older song thing.

Bakermat - Teach Me

Could see this being another top 40 for him.

Axwell^Ingrosso - Something New

Could be a top 5 hit if R1 playlist it. I saw it got used on a Beats advert so that should do well for it.

Disciples - They Don't Know

Set for a release in Feb and already top 200 on pre-orders in the iTunes dance chart.

Robin Schulz feat. Jasmine Thompson - Sun Goes Down

I hope they actually release this. It's been out for a while and no sign of a release date, could definitely be a hit though.

let's keep this thread going into 2015:

Timmy Trumpet & Savage - Freaks

it's really MASSIVE in Australia/New Zealand, could potentially cross over to here as well if they bother pushing it (it's already available to download which suggests they're not but many songs are released before given a commercial push/held back release)

Will Sparks feat. Elen Levon & Wiley - Ah Yeah So What

similar style to Freaks but less novelty, plus having Wiley on it could make it a potential chart smash. Also a hit in Australia.

My OCD is having trouble placing yearly Sun Goes Down and Something New.

If they chart this year then they will 2015, if not 2014 smile.gif

But as mentioned above SGD no release was seen, and according to nearly-always-wrongopedia Something New was released end of November 2014. Any update on these?

that's because it was. The UK, as always, are behind the rest of the world when it comes to release dates.

So true biggrin.gif

But what I meant, the UK release dates acc. to Wiki say a date and the date it charts is several weeks/MONTHS? later drama.gif

Not exactly "sticking your neck out" with that prediction though!? laugh.gif

On Mistajam's radio show this week, they premiered Dr. Meaker's new single "Freaks" which I think could smash. He said it'd be out mid-March and I got very strong "Waiting All Night" vibes from it- all strong female vocals and use of strings!!

Omg if this was a hit, I would not even... This video is a hilarious parody of the song (and my friends did their own version which is equally hilare):

I'm pretty sure I'm An Albatroaz will be at least a top 5, if not a #1.

I know but I wasn't on about whether it would be a hit or not. It was more the massive level of success it would have considering this was when it had just premiered. It was half tongue-in-cheek anyway laugh.gif

It's possible it's had a UK release already but this I can see being some form of hit if it gets released/ another release.
